I just know young Rhaenyra was desperate to flirt with Alicent this overtly. and also kinda a weird tangent but i always think on some level Em and Sue's situation would have been one of the best outcomes for them ?
like a world where Rhaenyra and Alicent are (mostly) discreetly in love behind the scenes. except its different in the sense i feel enough people would be benefitting off the situation that very few would have an issue (if they did manage to find out) and Viserys is as oblivious as always of course. Like, everyone kinda gets their way: Rhaenyra still has her lovely lavender marriage with Laenor and that brings the Velaryon dragons and ships into the fold, but she wouldn't have had the affair with Harwin or had any bastards. Aegon would have been her heir which would have made Otto happy and he would have been less able to maniuplate Alicent either way, and Alicents kids would have just in general been far less fucked up not having to grow up in that toxic enviroment. Viserys would likely still have been a disinterested father but it would have mattered less and Rhaenyra probably would have spoken out on her siblings behalf. Daemon might have still been an issue but much less of a threat. Assuming Daemon still kills Rhea and marrys Laena (which he would imo) then maybe you just marry Baela to (reformed) Aegon and their second child can have the Velaryon name and Driftmark, Helaemond happy ending, and Scene.
