That is what I always try to do. Show you all the colours of love.

When all you’ve ever known is how to be strong alone, and to always be there for others, it is often difficult to ask for a helping hand, when you need it. That’s why surrounding yourself with the right souls who understand you and deeply care, is so important. As they will wish to offer you theirs, without you even having the need to ask.

Reach for me. And I will guide you with my love.

A haiku, I wrote a while back. That I have lovingly restored.

Especially as an empath, it is all I ever really wanted to do. I recognised from a young age that I felt more deeply than the other children around me. I always had an old head on young shoulders. I cared about everything with a heart. And even though it was to my own detriment at times, it just made me braver and my love stronger. I’m still this way. Time changed nothing. I’m just a lot more wiser, more protective of my love and where I now choose to let my heart lie.

When it all gets too much, and the rest of the world walks out. I will still be here, waiting with my arms open, ready to love you.
