How do you think that all of your favorite ships got together??
I have some ideas about all of them:
Alma and Isabel- They met in childhood, becoming roommates so Alma could have more contact with children her own age. They quickly became friends, and Isabel defended Alma from Jack's bullying. As they grew up together, their friendship evolved into a romance that not even distance could separate. They corresponded for decades until they joined forces and became the new leaders of the peculiardom.
Fiona and Hugh- We already know this story, but it's still adorable 💜 Hugh and Fiona complement each other perfectly, a fact they discovered the first time they met. Initially, they were just friends fighting hunger and caring for one another, until they realized they loved each other forever.
Emma and Bronwyn- I like to think that when Emma was found, Bronwyn was already under Miss Peregrine's care; they were the only girls in the family and quickly became very close. Both were real little devils, and drove Miss Peregrine crazy, but as they grew up they became good, calm and responsible girls (Emma not so much). After Emma's two major romantic disappointments, and a long course of therapy, Emma and Wyn started spending more time together and finally fell in love.
Millard and Lily- Another one we've seen before, they're lovely and it's such a poetic romance. Millard and she met by chance, but they both became deeply interested in each other. She doesn't mind his peculiarity, and she's not afraid of him. She is the first person Mill can be absolutely certain loves him for who he is, for his personality, his talents, and his knowledge. They'll see each other after TDODA, he'll tell her everything that happened, and they'll be happy together.
Jacob and Rick- They definitely met in school; both were outcasts. Rick was the weird, redneck punk, and Jacob was the rich, nerdy kid everyone thought was strange. Neither of them had friends and they needed each other; Jacob was the one who invested in that unlikely friendship at first, in the name of his own survival. But they soon became good friends. After Jacob finally breaks up with Noor and decides to see Rick again, the two could finally reconcile and rekindle their friendship. After a few years, they definitely started dating.
Miss Avocet and Miss Bunting- I love vintage lesbians 🤭 They didn't even know they were a couple, but they were; they've known each other since school, they started the project together, it was the first loop with two ymbrynes inside. They love each other, they always have, but neither of them ever said it to the other; it wasn't necessary, they always knew.
