Emily barely felt the Grom hit as she kept focus on the stone she had. Before everything just stopped. Emily for a moment looks over to see what the vortex was doing, her eyes confused until she felt it come back, stronger.
Her legs swept out from beneath her and she was holding on to the stone. Using all her strength and grip not to go in and tries to focus in on a laying stone her eyes glowing deep purple as she does.

The vortex grows and becomes clear. Karisa can see a whole other world beyond it but can’t do anything but grit her teeth and wait it out. The stones begin rumbling and as the watches, she sees cracks beginning to form. These stones were so ancient that they can no longer sustain the magic that now courses through them.
Grom was having trouble standing but the behemoth had it’s orders. It couldn’t charge the pillar any more but with the cracks forming, maybe it didn’t have to. Grom holds onto the pillar with one arm and pulls back the other to start hitting it. It makes contact once....twice...three times. The pillar is finally showing signs of crumbling so Grom pulls back it’s arm, ready to deliver a final and devastating hit.
