After the trial Emily wants to end the exterminations completely to do so she must prove that they are wrong and a different solution is needed but Emily in speaking out only pushes the other angels away both heaven born and the asceneded souls believe Adam when he says the Exterminations are needed. Angry Emily lashes out at Sera and the other higher angels and is finally told the truth of why Hell exists at all, why the Exteminations happen why Adam leads them and even why Adam was never allowed around Emily. On earth the demons of old the ones who dwelled in the pit long before human souls fell into hell, forced Adam to bear their children they grew within his mind and soul tearing his body and spirit apart before being ripped from him only for that process to begin again...those children would become the original [the ones in we see in series canon are replacements the originals are sealed away] sins and the very first demons, all the most terrible evils born from an innocent, from Adam and Heaven didn't notice until to late. After Adam's death he still ascended to Heaven and a cleansing was done to erase the stain evil left on Adam the result was Emily...what was done to Adam can never be fixed all that happened is that instead of birthing new evil into the world Adam would give Heaven new angels. Emily is horrified and the higher angels are ashamed never wanting to reveal that they failed to look after Adam even after what happened in the garden...Emily regrets causing her 'mother' Adam more pain and trys to reach out to Adam. But Adam is done, he's been around long enough to know that regret doesn't mean remorse. No more second chances for anyone...of course Emily keeps going reaching out to Charlie in hell and reveals what she learned thinking if Charlie can find the children Adam birthed in hell they can prove the the exterminations aren't needed because Adam children couldn't be bad right? It all snow balls Emily was told the 'secret' and she told Charlie who told her father Lucifer when she needs his help to find Adam's kids and Vaggie knows because Charlie couldn't keep it from her...both Heaven and Hell have this 'secret' spreading and Adam just wants to cease his existance. : Extra info/Headcanon: the demons who raped Adam didn't touch him physically the rape was mental-metapysical and spiritual a direct attack on Adam's soul. As most didn't have a solid form to use on earth if they'd had bodies they would've 'enjoyed' Adam's body very much, they faded out and died or were killed in one of the many wars Heaven waged against Hell...Lilith and Lucifer didn't know about Adam when it was happening, Emily isn't the only angel born from Adam some of the exorcists are also Adam's, Adam didn't/wasn't allowed to raise any of them. Lots of complicated feeling for the higher angels including Sera, Adam both hates Sera and is grateful to her for trying to cleanse him, hates her because it didn't work and created Emily forcing Adam to again carry a child without his consent but is grateful because she tried to help heal him and didn't force Adam raise her also why he hates Sera he didn't get a choice if he wanted to try or not. Adam used to be in love with Lucifer, Lilith and Eve all of them broke his heart and his trust and never apologised once for any of it. Adam only trusts Lute and only to a certain point-Lute is not one of his children, Adam tries to keep his body covered as much as possbile, when Lilith came to Heaven she treated Adam more kindly, Lilith has fallen in love with Adam she wishes she'd done it both sooner and not at all...when she learns of what Adam endured, Lilith's determined to protect him from any more pain. Suspecting that Emily has shared Adam's private buisness Lute reluctantly brings it to Lililth's attention and tells the Queen this is her one chance to prove herself to to Lute, stop the information spread and Lute will not get in the way of her attempts to seduce Adam...May add more later any one can use idea..
