i forgot about these rough doodles from yesterday

work can be so boring

I lazily drew some of my other pets last night at work!

Fliioe is the Faerie Cybunny (i was too lazy to draw her wings or the details of her dress lol).  She’s a lesbian who runs a fashion blog and will kick anyone’s ass.  I tried to make her chunky but I think I need to practice that. (more excuses to draw her!)

The Plushie Hissie is Emik.  They’re NB, a diva, and kind of a shithead.  They’re hardcore into gardening and is a total gossip monger.  They also have a super crush on Maggie.  I’ve never tried to draw rumpled clothes or that position for a dress before and I think it shows. It sure was fun to try, though!

Emi K Film Camera (01/10/2017) 

This model, was made in Japan around 1956. It is extremely heavy as it is made from die cast metal. The main body of the camera is black leatherette and the top and bottom plates are satin stainless steel. It is a fairly old camera, as it belonged to my grandparents who had passed it down to me for my work in photography. It had a worn down case and the focusing lens was a little loose, showing that it was used often in the past, making it fairly unstable.

Learning about this camera was fairly difficult in my experience, as I did not know much about it. However slowly but surely, it started to get easier as I began to get used to the camera and all of its unidentifiable adjustments.

A feature I did not enjoy while using the film camera was that I was never certain of the outcome of the image. The idea that I would have to wait days to finish the film and then develop it was agonising. It was also such an ancient camera, so I was worried that I was wasting a whole roll of film. I guess I will have to wait and see, as only time can tell.
