I’m quite impressed with myself; this is all drawn with my left hand, which if you didn’t know, I’m definitely NOT left handed. But I love the challenge of seeing what I can do with my left hand. I’ve been feeling really inspired the past few days. I’m not entirely sure what’s changed, other than I’ve been listening to The Abundance Project podcast, by Derek Rydall. With a gentle nudge of some amazing women in my life (@prairieblooms, @ugly_mug_pots) I’ve started digging more into abundance and focusing more on what I have and where I want to go, rather than where I am and what I don’t have. Lilacs are one of my favourite flowers. My Mom has several purple-blooming bushes in their backyard, and a couple white ones alongside the house, in the front yard. They only ever bloom for a couple short weeks around Mother’s Day (even though this year was quite late) and the smells are amazing!! And the blooms are always so silky, and delicate.
