It’s surprisingly difficult to find prints dainty enough to balance with the detail in small pieces like #scissorcases and #embroideredboxes - even flowers as little as 10mm across are generally just too big 🤨 . This is one of my favourite #ditsyfloral prints because the print is tiny and the colours reflect my typical palette - rich greens and deep cranberry pinks that work beautifully with periwinkle blues, delicate lavenders and golden yellows. Having made an extensive tour of the Flower Garden, the embroiderer reached a sandstone wall.
