Back in the Saddle
I think? Iām reactivating my Tumblr so I can post whitty stuff here about my fanon stuff on the Moon Guard RP server in World of Warcraft, but also my own writing and other stuff Iām working on.
I also have the headcanon that they don't kiss much?? Idk they don't strike me as the type to do affectionate things very often, but when it does happen it's not a big deal? Being comfortable around each other for them is probably the biggest show of their "relationship". Least I think so? idk.
Yeeeees. Yes exactly. yeeees.Ā
i don't play with you because you're a goddamn nerd
Iād say fair point but youāre a fucking nerd too.
Thanks to all who participated, especially Kael who let me fill up Bladebornās RP week with this story arc. Thank you all for participating! Until next time!

[RP] The Longest Night
Jaguaro Isle July 8 Night
Taz stared into his small fire, exhausted but unable to sleep. The battle had left him battered, burned and bleedingā¦but losing Kael hurt worse, far worse, than any wound the warlock could possibly have inflicted. Taz had always idly wondered how the ancient Zandalari sacrifices of old felt, as the high priest ripped their still-beating heart from their chest; now he knew. There was no pain in the world, none, worse than being forced to watch a friendāa brotherāin distress and be unable to help. He had seen it all from the ground, lying helplessly on his back where the warlockās Fel-fire explosion had thrown him, as Kael was dragged into the portal. Taz had stumbled to his feet, trying to throw himself in after his friendā¦but by the time his rattled brain had put his muscles to work, it was already been far, far too late. His brother was gone.
Ā Gone like Umcha was gone. Gone like his brothers as sisters at the Wrathgate were goneāand so many others, in so many other battles over the years. Gone, gone, gone--
Ā A choking sob wracked his body, and he struggled mightily to inhale through the spasms in his chest. But the thought of Kael, the image of him being torn away, the thought of what might be happening to him, even now, was stronger even than his bodyās need for air. He fell to a knee, caught halfway between abject despair and desperation. His hands dug into the earth, digging into the rich jungle soil, without his conscious control as he simultaneously tried to sob, and scream.
Ā What felt like hours could, in reality, have been no more than a minute, if that. The spasm was broken, quite abruptly, when his naked palm clawed mindlessly into the edge of the fire, and a true screamāmore full of grief than painātore from his throat. He tried to jerk his arm back ā¦but found, suddenly, that the limb seemed to be under his control no longerāor at least unresponsive to his instinct. He writhed on the ground as the flesh of his hand smoked, but the paināand the unmistakable odorāseemed almost outside of himself in the oddest way. āFIGHā IT!ā he roared, almost mindlessly and at the top of his lungs, into the jungle night. āYA BETTAH FIGHT DIS KAEL! YA FAMILY WAITINā FOR YA! DONā LET DIS RED MUDDAH FUCKAH SEE YA SQUIRMINā!ā And then, just like that, it was over. He was curled up against the side of his favorite boulder, clutching his burnt hand and screaming againābut it was the pure, primal, defiant cry of trollish bloodlust that tore from his throat now. āWE COMINā YA FUCKAH! DE WHOLE FAMILY BE COMINā! AN WEN WE FIND YA, NOT EVEN DE LOA-FORSAKEN TWISTINā NEATHAH GONNA SAVE YA!ā
Encounter 2.5: Battle on the Cursed Seas
Description: This is initially a 1v2 encounter with various people acting as crewmembers and having specific roles. The second phase becomes a 1v1 with Netherus and Tazājin Darkspear.
After Kaelāthanās defeat at the hands of the Fel Lord at the Throne of Kilājaeden in Hellfire, Ilrethar ordered Netherus to tie up loose ends. On the back of Dreadtalon, the Fel Lord flies to destroy Embergloryās ship āThe Turncoatās Folly,ā however, the Fel Lord did not expect resistance. The remaining of Bladeborn stand united on Embergloryās ship, arming the cannons and preparing to blast the Fel Lord from the sky, sealing his fate at the bottom of the sea and securing them one step closer in rescuing Kaelāthan.
Encounter 2: The Fel Lord
This is the encounter, revised after testing.
Location: The Throne of Kilājaeden (Hellfire)
Fel Lord Netherus
After being enslaved by an Eredar of the Burning Legion, Netherus had no choice but to carry out his task. Now hunted down by the Bladeborn Concurrence, he issues his final challenge to Kaelāthan Embershield to ensure his Masterās will be done and the Bladeborn leader drinks of the blood.
Description This will be a standard 1v1 DnD duel with two phases and perks associated with each side. Kaelāthan and Netherusā HP has been increased to 10 for this encounter.
Mechanics:
Khothec, the Doomguard (Cripple): On odd numbered successful rolls (11, 13, 15, 17, 19) Khothec cripples Kaelāthan, removing his ability to call for aid his next turn. (Active in both phases)
Final Fate: If both Netherus and Kaelāthan fall on the same turn, both roll again, the highest roll wins the encounter.
Phase 1: Burning Skies
Dreadtalon: Every three turns Netherus will mount Dreadtalon, his corrupted raven, and ascend into the sky above the throne. Netherus becomes unattackable this turn; however, Embershield can use an ability from the sides. The next turn, Dreadtalon descends from the skies dealing 1 damage to Kaelāthan. Dreadtalon always goes first and does not need to roll to deal damage from descending.
Terror of the Skies: Upon a successful roll, Dreadtalon grabs an assistant with his massive talon during his descent and tosses them from the Throne, removing them from the encounter.
Phase 2: WE ARE LEGION!
Fel Fire Defense: At 4 HP, Netherus combusts into a fel flame, burning Kaelāthan for .5 HP every successful attack made against Netherus. The fire causes Dreadtalon to flee the fight.
Final Chaos: Upon falling, Netherus launches a Chaos Bolt that does 1 damage.
Bladeborn Concurrence
Kaelāthan will be able to call on assistants from the sidelines in place of his attack. He cannot call on assistants two times in a row.
Eviarra (Leeching Poison of Shared Fate): Eviarra rolls to attack, if she connects successfully she heals Kaelāthan for 1 HP and deals 1 damage to the enemy. If it is a 20 roll she does double damage and heals Kaelāthan for 2 HP.
Nynaevve Mandragoran (Prayer): A successful roll causes a prayer to heal Kaelāthan for 1 HP and reduces damage taken next turn only by half. A 20 causes Kael to be healed 2 HP and take no damage next turn only.
Tazājin Darkspear (Da Voodoo Surprise!): Tazājin appears from the shadows, attempting to wedge his dagger into the Fel Lordās hipbone. A successful hit causes the Fel Lord to miss any attack 15 and below his next roll. A 20 roll, incapacitates the Fel Lord his next turn.
Lurlei Emberglory (Capānās Revenge): Upon a successful roll, Emberglory shoots Dreadtalonās wing, causing the Fel Lord to immediately dismount and allowing Embershield to follow up with an attack. In Phase 2, Lurleiās successful roll will allow her to douse the Fel Lord with sea water, causing his flames to die down and not burn Kaelāthan when he attacks (Lasts 1 turn).
