━.*･｡ﾟthe boy’s mouth was left hanging for a few seconds before composing himself, but then after finally coming to terms with it, he still didn’t know how to react. he wasn’t ready to be a father. chan wasn’t a good role model, he never had been, and now he shared one of the biggest responsibilities anyone could have. nurturing and taking care of a baby. he did not want the child to grow up in this environment. some part of him just wanted to run away from it all at this point and live a regular life. being a family together, maybe even having a regular job.

               the corners of his lips lifted, and he could finally think straight. this was happening. a little child would run around looking like a mix of himself and jinah. his eyebrows, with her doe eyes, and a little box smile. he could picture it already. this was going to work out. he had to leave this gang, though. they had to go far away. li had to come as well, they could all just live normal lives for once. the child would never know about his bullet wound, the stuff they all were involved in, this had to wash away. the past couldn’t define their futures any longer. everything had to change.

she was going to do do it. she was finally ready to confess her feelings to jinah. ❝ what do i even bring? ❞ li has never been good at acting on her feelings. it wasn’t entirely her fault; she was raised to conceal them since they would get in the away on missions. maybe flowers? or a doll? she tried thinking back on what people would bring to her when they shared their emotions. chocolate! she had time to stop by a store on the way to meeting jinah, it would be perfect. or so she thought. through her pacing, she lost track of time and she only had a couple minutes to get to her. she began running the meeting place, already seeing her friend waiting. she picked up her pace but her heist caused her to trip over her own feet and fall to the ground. maybe if she stayed there jinah wouldn’t notice her?
