#embarrassing stuff

Doing this Nick Fury stuff is fascinating also because of just how insanely influential Jim Steranko's work and art was on not just Nick and is why Nick became as popular as he did, but on comics in general artistically and visually and it means I now am really judging a lot of people's like... depiction of Nick and the other members of Shield because you can Tell when someone has read Steranko and when someone hasn't. And it isn't that reading Steranko saves you from making bad comics (Hello Secret Warriors by Hickman), but feels so clear when someone hasn't when they try to write these characters and I honestly find it embarrassing. Like Lanzing and Kelly clearly Have Not Read Jim Steranko Strange Tales or Nick Fury, Agent of Shield and I'm sorry but I just think it's deeply embarrassing to be a professional comic writer and not have read one of the single most influential comic book series' of all time. This isn't even a "You need to read my Blorbo before you write my Blorbo", I just genuinely think it's embarrassing to unwittingly reveal such a lack of interest in your own genre and art form.

the army’s that say “jungshook” are the weakest

There was a post on insta that was saying how the new sub can't teach because the kids don't respect those like him. So a very stern woman walked into the class and they all calmed immediately. I was kind of miffed that these people were bringing a dom/sub roleplay in a school with children. It took me way too long to understand that sub is short for substitute. This site has ruined me.
