thyllanâs romantic life is slow. the inquisition is a lot for him, because heâs never had any contact with people outside his small clan, he doesnât understand common. heâs like a lost puppy almost. he earns the nickname âice kingâ both because of his proficiency with ice magic and because heâs seen as a cold person. heâs very quiet and reserved and stoic and it takes him a while to break out of his shell. once he does, though, people see heâs just like them. he jokes! he flirts! heâs shy! he has a little crush on solas, since they spend a lot of time together (solas is pretty much the only one he can talk to, they share a passion for fade magic, etc). eventually, though, thyllan falls for @blackwatchmanatee âs reva, a fun fire mage (woo fire and ice!). they balance each other so well and their relationship is great. reva helps thyllan get more comfortable and break out of his shell, âmelting the ice kingâ. and thyllan helps reva by providing stability and essentially a new home. ndajigbisaobua idk its just wholesome and perfect and wonderful i love them both.Â
25. why you enjoy them
i love him because thereâs so much i can explore with him. he feels super unique to me. i got to create my own dalish clan (leyndarmal) and explore everything to do with that. theyâre a small, old clan and theyâre all shapeshifters, all taking the form of wolves. they all are essentially devoted to fenâharel. after trespasser, thyll never takes the form of a wolf again (his whole clan was destroyed so he feels like its okay to abandon this tradition).
also hes just a big dork and sweetheart and hes cute af idk i just love my sweet wolf son

Oddly enough, they have similar last thoughts. They both live to old age after full lives, so their last thoughts are both something along the lines ofâŠ
1. How do they move and carry themselves? Pace, rhythm, gestures, energy?
Sheâs a positive, easy going person that rarely runs out of energy. Walks fast and her pace is kind of jumpy, her hands always in motion (playing with a corner of her clothes, a piece of wood, anything). She doesnât really make any effort to carry herself in a certain way, she naturally seems approachable. Not judgy? People who need directions or help usually just hover towards her.
She used to not mind personal space when she was with the clan but living in human cities changed that. She can still be a little physical sometimes since working with her hands is a big part of healing so clapping you on the shoulder or back ainât all that rare if you hang out with her.
14. What do they care deeply about? What kind of loyalties, commitments, moral codes, life philosophies, passions, callings, or spirituality and faith do they have? How do these tend to be expressed?
Man, the hard questions.
Spirituality & Faith: She doesnât believe in the Elven Gods, stopped considering them almighty beings since she was rather young. Doensnât believe in the Maker either. She used to accept both the Evanuris and the Maker might exist but considered them closer to spirits. Does she believe there might be some kind of higher being out there? Yes. Does she believe it/they are known or have anything to do with the world and her life? No. So she doesnât pray to anyone specific.
Moral codes & Life philosophies: Help when you can | Always have a solid plan. Her moral codes have their roots in the way her clan functioned. They would help anyone they met that needed assistance as long as that was not dangerous for the clan. She believes in helping people in need whenever itâs possible but also in being careful; you never know if the other person is being honest.
Loyalties: Her friends. Her family. She would kill for her friends. She has killed for her family.
Callings & Passions: Healing, herbalism, foreign languages. Healing and herbalism are tied very closely and are her calling. Travelling far and wide with the Inquisition really helped her pursue it and by the end of Trespasser she had an extensive collection of herbs, salves, dried flowers and roots. Part of her chambers looked like a garden. Languages are her passion; increasing the amount of people you can communicate with? Amazing. Being able to understand new words, new phrases? Mindblowing. New languages open up new horizons. Sheâs mostly interested in living languages though, languages that help her connect with others.
27. What do they strongly like and dislike, in any category? Why?
Lying, especially when you are in a place of power and/or directly affecting other people. When people overestimate their capabilities, on purpose or not, or refuse to assess a situation properly and take the right measures. This is something that derives from personal experiences. It had not been too long after leaving the clan with her mentor that they had visited an alienage, one he would often go to to offer help. She had been young, she had overestimated her abilities. She had tried to help the sick but was seen in the process and they had to run away when the city sent Templars to investigate. The alienage elves helped them escape and part of the alienage was burned down because of that. It was an extremely hard life lesson watching it burn from far away, one that taught her that you can do more harm than good with good intentions but not properly thought out actions.
What? How am I not done yet? AWW HELL NAH GOTTA TRY AND DO THEM ALL.Â

iâve had a real hankering to write lately and i love the awesome @ematisâ ocs, so iâve made some codex entries for them! please go check out her blog if you havenât already - itâs amazing and thereâs so much good content there.Â
here iâve written 3 entries one for Yara of Clan Halveri, Talim Lavellan, and Eulalia âEulieâ Calais di Angelo.Â
now onto the codex entries (i put most of them under the cut for length)
1. Yara of Clan Halveri
Our scout of the Western Approach yielded more results than expected. We found the Grey Wardens holed up in one of the few remaining structures â a Dalish clan, apparently known as the Halveri, assisted us. If it werenât for them, we never would have found the Wardens. The Elvhen are cautious of our troops but itâs likely only because of the recent conflict. A young woman named Yara has proven especially helpful and led us directly to the Wardens in exchange for information on the situation in the Approach. Yara is a skilled negotiator and seems to be the face of trade for the Halveri.
The Halveri have been doing healthy trade here â perhaps we should reconsider our existing sources of information. More trade goods should secure an alliance for the Inquisition.

2. Talim Lavellan
Perhaps I shouldnât have been sneaking around the kitchens that day, or perhaps not. Andraste wants us to see what she wants us to see, does she not? If she didnât want me to see the cooks adding a little spice to the kitchen using their dicks, well that was just unfortunate. She should know I sneak around more than any good author should. So my defense is perfectly normal, and when I say I didnât mean to hear anything that annoyingly boring day, I wouldnât lie. Dwarvesâ honour.
Anyway, Dorian was talking with Lynda, one of the cooksâ assistants, and Makerâs tits, his voice couldnât have been louder if heâd taken a blood magic spell to the streets of Kirkwall. Or if he were a mage trying to whisper in a Circle, but whatever. Important thing was, Dorian was talking. Loudly. And I happened to be there to listen.
âI swear, if he asks me one more time to just put the belt away, Dorian,â he whined, doing a surprisingly poor imitation, âIâm going to turn him into a spirit for a day. Weâll see how he likes that!â A pause, and I casually looked around the corner to see Dorian sitting on a counter, legs crossed and reading a bottle of wine. As usual. âIs this from the Hinterlands?â He cast it aside. âUgh, that stuff reeks. What do you put in it, Druffalo urine? Did you know he couldnât sleep without the light on? And I make a pun once and he withholds sex for a week! Barbaric. Never mind his seemingly pathological need to steal, though I will admit it has its⊠Advantages at times. Still, though, convincing him to give anything back is like convincing him to part with a limb! And donât forget ââ
âDorian?â Lynda asked, turning I-am-so-done eyes on him. âIf you hate Talim so much, why do you stay with him?â
The most graceful man himself blushed â I couldnât believe my eyes. âBecause I love him,â he practically whispered to himself, smiling so softly I almost felt awkward. Almost. âAnd besides, I like to hear the sound of my own voice, so Iâm sure Iâm blowing it out of proportion. After all, my voice is possibly the most exquisite ââ
I didnât even bother staying after that â Dorianâs ego needs no witnesses. Besides, a certain silver-haired elf would birth halla at this news.

3. Eulalia âEulieâ Calais di Angelo
The spirits seem to like her. Witnessing such an event⊠I am unsure if it has ever been done. Seeing one commune with the spirits as if they were the oldest of friends â this is something I would never have dared to imagine. Quite unlike any elf of her ilk, Eulalia Calais di Angelo seems to be a conductor for spirit activity, and I find she acts as if she were a confidant. Spirits whisper secrets to her; secrets of their lives, of their past, of who they are now. One particularly intelligent spirit even gave their best impression of the Fade. You may find my notes of the encounter attached. When I asked di Angelo if she may have any idea why spirits flock to her, she seemed evasive. A secret-keeper, is Eulalia. Perhaps this stems from her distrust of Academics, in particular. To her, I am but an armchair historian: watching and not acting. The Avaar are the closest comparisons I can draw to her communions with spirits â as they also converse with spirits. However, this is a pale comparison and the situations are markedly different.
Having since discovered her origins as a Tevinter slave, I do believe I can elaborate on why the spirits are so close to Eulalia. I believe they feel a sense of kinship â a sense of âslavery to the Fadeâ, so to speak. Perhaps this is naught but conjecture. However, my informants tell me that Eulaliaâs greatest fears are that of being invisible â of being seen but never acknowledged, witnessed but never validated by those she loves. Such are the fears of a freedwoman. I believe the spirits, human as they once were, share her fears and understand them. Maybe Eulalia shall become as famous as the Herald, and perhaps she shall fade into obscurity and become nothing more than urban legend. Only time will tell.

So tiny and cute, all smiles, innocent and carefree. At least thatâs how she presents herself. Appearances are what they are: appearances. Lailani chooses to appear naive and innocent, but thereâs more to her than meets the eye. In the end, innocence doesnât rhyme with ignorance. Sheâs got a job to do, a world to save, and sheâs determined to see it through.
