i feel like it was important for me that spencer asked (this is real hard for me to explain thoughts so bare with), but i wanted spencer to offer, not as a way to 'convince' her to be in love with him back but as a kind act because he loves her, not because he's expecting anything, he just doesn't want her to miss out(?) (idk if that makes sense lol)
honestly i found it so hard to write, I wrote it alongside my first smut piece (I did lots of research and lowkey wanted a way to use all the biology things I learned) aside form it being super hot with spencer its so interesting to get to learn like biological terms and such since I haven't done science things in a hot muinet.
Imma yap RQ so be warned...
but like idk i feel like education in this area is just, none existent, especially for young girls and those growing up in religious environments and even then with like this near 0 sex ed, LGBTQ+ sex ed is somehow even more non existent, WHCIH is why people are exposed to (and seek out) smut from a very young age, because how else will they learn? I feel so strongly about this for many reasons, education is power and leaving young people venerable and not educated in this area means
a. they can be taken advantage of, and
b. the violence from p0rn or things like that are seen as 'normal' (yes ik kinks exist but that is only once you know your own boundaries, not the first thing you explore)
meaning usually young uneducated girls and harmed by equally uneducated boys who thing 'rough' and 'dangerous' is normal. (obviously there is more nuance than this and queer people also fit into this concept of being harmed, usually in age gap situations)
this was not the point of ur ask at all, apologies, i got carried away.
Basically, I leaned things when researching smut and if this is the first smut fic someone reads while uneducated about their body then i hope its informative (cos as much as i can try and remove ageless blogs, people can lie in their bio or just not 'interact' with the post)
