My simple formula as look at how much the item sells for (the value) compared to the weight it takes to hold it (in this case I have heard many an argument for pencils in this situation because they are worth 1 bottle cap and donât weigh anything) but also, whether or not the item can be used in any way. Burned books- worthless (unless in new vegas), cups- worthless (unless they are mugs; OWB DLC), box of detergent- completely worthless, dinner plates- worthless, clipboards- worthless, the list goes on. However, there is one important caveat kiddies, all the worthless items may not have value in and of themselves (for a quest or to be sold for caps) ARE all valuable to you of you have the Rock-It Launcher which you can fill with all our your random useless junk to be used as ammunition. - Ruckus

(I am so sorry I copied this ask into my replies and deleted it but as soon as I hit the delete button I forgot that I didnât highlight the whole thing so I donât have the askers info.) So Fallout 4 takes place 200 years after the bombs, 2277, which is also the year Fallout 3 took place meaning that New Vegas is a sequel to 3 and 4?
I am not entirely sure what to think about this. From what Todd was saying, you emerge from the Vault 200 years after the war/bombs fell which would make the time frame of the game around the same time as Fallout 3 takes place. Boston is just under 500 miles from DC and if the BOS has access to flying (vertibirds and what not) it wouldnât be too farfetched to say that they would likely come that way looking for technology. And if Zimmer managed to make it to Rivet City there must be some way that people are getting there. I would venture to guess that the BOS is going to be kinda like a large faction like in New Vegas, where you could side with or not. And blowing up something in a vertibird with a missle/nuke would be oh-so-fitting to make the trailer/gameplay video look SUPER BADASS. (you agree, I know.) Â So I guess in that right New Vegas would be a sequel(if youâre inclined to call it that.) to both games, 3and 4.

Plus, more interestingly, a Vault Tec bobblehead and Vault 111 t-shirt. :D Check their website if you're curious of the specifics. I just pre-ordered it this morning when I was in town. Cannot wait! ^^
I saw that on their site when I was there. I am SERIOUSLY considering buying the pipboy edition from there (and it would be super awesome to get those perks if it will let me. The bobblehead, omgâŚ.) and have it sent here to me (I live in the US) just so I can get one. Of course that leaves a pretty big IF I/they can do it.

I am sorry I donât know the answer to that. But honestly, I donât think so. Iâd have to play it to see but I would venture to guess that the only real way to not be able to hear your character talk is by not talking to anyone. And I am not really sure about how easy that would be to do. SorryâŚ

blanketyblankmate said: I hate reading everyonew posts saying "I'm fine with soending $120 on the Pip-Boy edition even though its a lot of money." In Australia its almost $200. Count yourselves lucky *cries in corner*
Sadly I didnât get one. They were completely sold out and I demanded that they call me if they get more in. I will be there with the cash in hand if necessary. Just run out of work with an âIâLL BE BACKâ and no further explanation. Also, I honestly thought that they were going to be like $300 dollars. So, I was relieved that they werenât that much more expensive than one would have spent on the game alone which makes me even more sad that I couldnât get one. Also, Australian dollars are worth more than US dollars by about 30 cents. So for every 1 US dollar that is 1.30 Australian dollars. Not sure why itâs so expensive over there because $120 US dollars is $156.47 Australian dollars. (According to Google)

I mean changing how the special stats work (Intelligence increases experience gain rather than skill points, Luck recharges a 'guaranteed crit meter'), and by the looks of it, doing away with the skill system that was present in every previous Fallout game?
I really am not sure how I feel about it without playing the game. I would like to think that they are making the changes to help better the flow of the game and make it easier for people who are new to the franchise or who didnât otherwise pay attention to that stuff to understand what the effect of your skills are on everything. Maybe it will help kinda break down the barrier, at least for me, to be able to branch out and try something different other than the regular things I get used to doing. Again, hard to say without actually playing it.

I have at least 1000lbs , partially made up of 193 bighorner steaks, 126 gecko kabobs, and 167 Sunset Sasparillas. Hopefully Arcade doesn't gorge himself too much while I'm off with Boone and ED-E, he doesn't have anyone to keep him company yet XD
Well, youâll never go hungry, thatâs for sure! You should probably open a restaurant or something. But I think the real question here is HOW ON EARTH did you carry all of that stuff?

The events of said alternate Fallout are still the same, except the theme/aesthetic and setting is all retro late 60's, 70's and early 80's. So imagine an 80's song like "Take my Breath Away". Or "Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins playing in the gameplay of said Fallout. And all the clothes people would wear are of late 60's to 70's and 80's. So how'd that sound or feel like?
That would be pretty cool. Walking around listening to 80s hair metal and beating super mutants to death with a flying V guitar. Scavenge up some spray paint to tag the ruined buses and broken down homes. We donât need this world, civilization, we donât need anyone.
Or maybe you come out of the vault with a horrible feeling in your gut, you were right to oppose this War and it got the world nowhere being caught up in it. Now youâre starting at destroyed and desolated place. But you know what, youâre going to build your own settlement free of judgment and rules and all the bullshit where people can be themselves and get lost in the music and the rhythm and let the âexperienceâ widen your perspective and enlighten you without the prying eyes of âTHE MAN.â

lost-in-the-dust said: Its kinda disappointing how much cut content was removed from the game. Like, some mods reveal the old content, and it was just so odd, like, basically 80% of cut content was fully voiced and scripted.
I know, I donât know if they just thought that they wouldnât have enough time or they didnât think that anyone would want to do those quests, or what. I always wondered what the deal was with the named raiders in the Monte Carlo suites- turns out they were built in for a quest around getting ammo for that group, âThe Scorpions.â And it was all voiced and planned out and everything but never implemented. So you go in there and shoot âem up and youâre like wait, I just killed a named person what did I mess up.
Also there was the whole quest to be able to romance Cass that never got implemented, itâs like WHY?! Youâre guess is as good as mine.

Not to make myself any giant stash or anything, but purely because you can't destroy them. Yay for a drug-free Wasteland! Have you ever done or considered weird play throughs?
Good for you, cleaning up the wastes! The Followers of the Apocalypse would be so proud. You should take any med-x that you find to Julie Farkas because she will pay you back for it and you can get in good with the Followers. (I mean, if you want to. Itâs nice because she will sell you skill magazines, as well as, give you your choice of a stimpak, fixer, or rad away every day you come visit after youâve finished the quest Hard Times.)
As far as weird play throughs, none really come to mind. Other than setting out with the plan to collect all the Nuka Cola trucks in the wasteland- but now itâs kind of morphed into anything Nuka related. (Iâm not addicted.)
