Hmmm, I’m not sure what “random” means exactly, but I think my strangest one and maybe the one who feels the weirdest and randomest to me is this furry I have called Trent. For context, I don’t have many furry OCs and don’t really consider myself much of a furry past having a fursona and supporting my friends who are, but I used to know this guy who owned this character and asked me & my friend group at the time of we wanted him (for free). I thought he was cute and said sure. The weird thing is that it turns out this fucker has been owned by like, multiple people, AT LEAST two of which ended up being ugly scammers who have stolen money or lied about things to get money in the past. He’s got a fursuit head that was missing for years after being lost in the mail and miraculously turned up before going missing again and then being heavily damaged by some rando. I don’t know for sure who made his original design but I’m pretty sure it’s some babyfur who one of my best friends coincidentally used to be friends with years ago. It’s just… wildly cursed and unbelievable. This OC has such raw wild energy that I don’t know what to do, but he’s mine now and I named him after fukkin Nine Inch Nails to make him even more cursed!! Oh man, as a kid I made up a species called forest children, that were these horrifying dog-sized animals that had wolf bodies, no eyes, a wolf snout, and human mouth, and the only sounds they could make were the sound of a screaming human child. They had huge front claws and people could domesticate them and keep them as loyal pets but nondomesticated ones were incredibly deadly. I don’t know what the hell was going on when I was 10, ok. Nowadays, I have my own made up My Little Pony species that I invented for my Ponysona (a Mountain Unicorn, which is basically just a more classic unicorn design, with the long tail and shaggier coat and stuff but in the MLP world lol), and I made up my own Digimon line as well, a honeybee Digimon that lives in a hive/colony with others of its evolution line. In general I’m not as interested in writing high or hard fantasy though, I prefer realistic stuff or like… realistic science fiction kind of stuff or surreal fiction stuff or horror with a hint of fantasy at the most extreme so I’m less likely to take time to invent an entire species since that’s not a primary focus of my writing!!
