The Spirit (2008)
No, your eyes don't deceive you: that is, indeed Star Trek: Deep Space Nine's Nana Visitor, and Flash Gordon himself, Sam Jones, as Ellen Dolan and The Spirit/Denny Colt.
They starred in a 1987 ABC television movie The Spirit, which had originally been shot as a TV series pilot for the 1986 season. However, management changes at ABC lead the pilot to be shelved and the series never coming to fruition.
The TV movie finally aired without no advance promotion, which is just as well as it wasn't very good. Spirit creator Will Eisner was not very happy with the end product at all, and didn't mind telling everyone.
To be fair, though, it was more entertaining than Frank Miller's 2008 film.

June 1975. Femmes fatales were a specialty of the house in THE SPIRIT. Several featured in this mostly reprint issue of the Warren magazine, which also included the new cover by Will Eisner and Ken Kelly and a droll if rather sexist item on the first and only meeting of:
Ellen Dolan (the blond woman with the headband) was not a femme fatale β she was Commissioner Dolan's daughter and a plucky good girl who eventually ran for mayor β but the others were, to paraphrase Mae West, better for being bad.
