warning, centaurworld spoilers (season 2)
for cannon squicks: I HATE it when me, elktaur, and the general are referred to as the same person. The elk is technically a part of me so it's a bit easier being referred to as on with him, but he's still a PART of me. A PART. You argue about the technicality of if we are or not all you want. But I HATE it. A part of this is that I feel like I'm being used as an umbrella terms vs my own being. Like I'm the word you can use to describe all of them at once. I'm not the elktaur that separated himself into two, elk and human, then living two separate lives, with one becoming a dark and evil monster of a power ful beast which is where the name comes from. No, we are literally different people. I'm actually bearly a person. I am a void of loneliness and feeling like nothing with a destructive rage with an elk inside me that sometimes takes control. The fans can't seem to understand how much beauty there is to that. They think I am nothing without the creatures that created me, so they think we must be one is the same. It's stupid really. Actually I am nothing so lol. Or should I say "so that tracts? (Insert bad joke drum sound affect here) Something that is heavly related to above rant but is more of a me thing then a the canon what are you thinking thing is being referred to by he him pronouns. Like yeah elk's a guy, yeah elktaur's a guy, yeah the general's a guy and yeah my name's the nowhere KING, but it feels like belittling me and pushing me into a stupid gender binary that a monster made of hate should not be a part of, also is a shove to show that I'm treated like another elktaur variation. Not a being made out of dark magic hatred and loneliness. But a man. Honestly this is really sad because now no matter what I do to ease my gender dysphoria when it comes to being genderfluid (irl? Aka in a non otherkin related way except when I'm kingender, tho my kintypes do all have their own genders that feel like secondary genders that barely matter) I'll always have a WHOLE FANDOM misgendering me.😭
I am masc yeah, but in a demi or quarter sorta way not a full. Or like, at least not ONLY masc. It's the only being referred to by he him that gets me
Okay maybe some use it its. But imagine if I'm on r/XenogendersAndMore and I see a post of someone headcannoning me with a bunch of xenogenders 🥺 ❤️prob not happening 😥
Anyway stay strong fictionkin who's gender is different from how the fandom perceives you and/or your canon gender!
x
