PPS. I just went through the trophy list and realize some difference between EN/JP: Instrument of Faith絶望への勇気(the courage to face despair) Instrument of Change未来への希望(hope for the future), I kept mistaking whose’s whose..

Thanks for looking these up! Well Vanille>faith and Hope>change, so it’d be:

Vanille’s trophy: Instrument of Faith -- 絶望への勇気 (the courage to face despair)

Hope’s trophy: Instrument of Change -- 未来への希望 (hope for the future)

And lo and behold, the Japanese trophies fit them better xD. You can also see where the ENG localisation team working on FF13-2 got their inspiration from, because the original name for the "The Future is Hope” is much different and doesn’t reference Hope at all. (x)
