Day 2 of my #womenauthors for #womenshistorymonth are my two novels by Elinor Glyn - "Three Weeks" and "The Reason Why." I found them at a secondhand store for $1 a piece and, since I collect books published before 1925, buying them was easy. Reading them was the best. Elinor Glyn was a British novelist who died in 1943. Though the stories are not racy by today's standards, she was a pioneer of risque, occasionally erotic, romance novels aimed at women. Really, she was one of the first romance novellists.
