I think Rhela has some aspects of this, but this is definitely more from the perception of say... Geldauran who has put in the effort to get behind the walls she puts up. On the outside, most people would call her empathetic but maybe not see the core of who she is.

Also Geldy would be yelling in the background: Yeah, she's got a lovely peach. 🍑

Dear gods, this is such a loaded question. I constantly have WIPs floating through my brain. It's great, it's also a great problem. 🫠

A Witness to My Crimes 💥

I have been working on this fic slowly, trying to post consistently every 10-12 days or so, which has been going good so far! It is an AU of The Boys universe where Soldier Boy had a sidekick that 'matches his freak' in that they both kinda suck and are worse together but they're happy about it. 😏

The Theory of Being - Chapter 69 🌿

I am so close to finishing this longfic, I only have a few more chapters to go and my *goal* is to finish it before the end of June. Will it happen? Hopefully. But currently I am working on that chapter which is a juicy one, in my opinion, it's a nice little meetup between Isathe and Elgar'nan - it's going to go SO WELL (/s).

This one is sort of on the backburner but it's my longer Rhela and Geldauran fic I plan on doing after I finish up some events and finish my longfic. The first two chapters are partially written though!

Swear Right Now Before the Devil 🗡️

I am working on a longer SPN fic that I am still undecided if I will be posting or not but it's incredibly self indulgent and has a lot of pieces of me in that the OC has a lot of the same skills and fears as I do so putting it out there does feel daunting.

welp, it's not wrong. I have been in need of a hug and a good cry this week.

Working on a Penguin Classics style template for my personal works, and did a mock up of one of my Rheldauran fics that I'd like to bind at some point (though it is very short so it'll become part of another work that will be longer).

I had created the covers during last years DABB for ePub purposes and have cleaned it up to work in a template format (where the spine will change size depending on the book/fic.

I am quite pleased with it.

1. What's your blog title from?

Well, in Dragon Age elfroot is a plant used in so many things. And since I always played an elfy elf, it was a fun combo that wasn't taken everywhere so it became my name pretty much in any social media setting.

2. Latest movie? What did you think?

Watched Project Hail Mary on a date night recently and I liked it! I tend to watch movies and TV for entertainment so a lot of things like inaccuracies tend not to bother me (unless it's archery but that was because I used to teach archery and so that makes me cringe when its wrong). I thought it was well done, and interesting and had a lot of heart.

3. What are you looking forward to right now?

The first thing that popped into my mind was I ordered patches of my Brecilian County Sheriff Department for my modern, god reincarnation AU. I got the teaser image for it and I am just... I love it so much. I need it to be here NOW.

4. If you could do anything at all today, what would it be?

I would REALLY like to catch up on my DABB writing, and maybe work on my Soldier Boy chapter to get it out soon. I'd also like to play with my Moonlight Peaks farm a bit. 🤣

5. Drink of choice?

Diet Coke. I am that person.

6. Hair routine?

Not a whole lot these days. I use curl cream out of the shower because I have that weird ass like... bottom layer is curly as fuck and the top layer is decidedly *NOT*. And then I let it air dry. Some day I'll learn how to "do it right" but it's been so hot, it's always in a clip anyway so why bother?

7. Favourite way to travel? Is there another you want to try?

I actually really love flying (in general)! My grandfather was a pilot for a profession, and then he also had a small 2 seater Cessna that he built on his own and used to take us up in. So I think flying gives that sort of happy core memory? But I also really enjoy driving if it's fun background.

8. Favourite month and why?

March. Because it's my birthday. Just kidding, I am a cliche Autumn girlie, so uh, early November.

9. Favourite time of day and why?

I like early evening the best. It feels most calm, I feel most focused and relaxed.

10. Do you play or follow any sports?

Playing? Sport? HAH... HAHAHAH...AHHhAhhha... I am not co-ordinated. Though I suppose archery DOES count. BUT, I love watching hockey. :)

11. What kind of music has been stuck in your head lately?

Due to my cowboys, Instagram has aggressively been advertising like "gothic cowboy music" and ngl, it's a freaking vibe.

12. Dishes or laundry?

Laundry. Fucking hate doing the dishes.

13. Something you learned recently?

That THC seltzers kick in much faster and make me very sleepy.

14. What would you talk about if you could give a TED talk on anything?

Due to my minor in college (Comparative Religion) and the course study I chose to focus on, I think I could give a very good history of the Witch Hunts in Europe - talking about the societal influences as well as how weather patterns affected the spread of the hysteria and why the ones in Salem were odd in comparison to those in Europe. Also yeah, I went to university in Salem. How'd you know?

15. Piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?

Not every sentence I write needs to be groundbreaking. If they are all poignant and deep, then it reduces the impact of the truly important lines.

16. Piece of advice you would give yourself five years ago?

I probably would have encouraged myself to start writing again sooner. Just because one bad teacher, one bad experience made you feel like you weren't "cut out for it", or embarrassed you, just keep going. I often think about where I would be as a writer if I hadn't let a teacher in High School 20 years ago make me feel so small.

17. Do you believe in luck and superstition? Do you carry any lucky items or follow any superstitions?

I think I am very much in that... it doesn't hurt to be a little superstitious. If I am wrong? Then what does it harm? If I am right? Then hell yeah. That being said I don't really have any direct rituals I follow for luck.

18. Are you musical (play any instruments, sing)? Would you ever perform for an audience?

I used to play guitar. And I sing in the car. 🤣 Absolutely-fucking-not to performing for someone.

19. Write, type or speak?

Type. I work in IT, and in a digital world, so I so rarely hand write anything these days that a) I am pretty sure my handwriting is awful (also I am lefty so...) and b) my hand starts to hurt quickly. Speaking only when I need to, but I find it easier to process my emotions and words when typing. I feel like I am far less eloquent and have a more difficult time in putting my thoughts into words through speech.

20. What do you wish someone would ask you?

This feels like one of those times like when someone asks you your favorite book and then you forget the name of every book you've ever read? Lately, I just really like talking about writing. I dunno. Or bookbinding I guess?
