TAGLIST !!! did u miss me

Sooo this is a heavy one lol. I do understand that like...99% of you guys following me don't know this, but I was writing a (Haldir x reader) LOTR fic earlier this year where the MC is isekai'd in the LOTR world. I abandoned it for multiple reasons, but still!

All this to say: MC used to be human (obviously), and when she was quite literally thrown into the world of LOTR she was turned into an elf pretty much against her will. Since I am rewriting the fic (quite slowly but still), I did want to spend A LOT more time tackling the HUGE issue of body dysmorphia one would definitely go through in such a situation. Before anyone says it- I DO personally have body dysmorphia myself, so I do know what I am doing, don't worry I won't tackle it with the immaturity of a 13 year old kid that just discovered the term. <3

Still though, I haven't read that many LOTR fics, but I feel that this is something no one has explored before? If I'm wrong lmk!! But I have yet to see a fic where a human MC is turned into a different race and is given the time she needs to express her body dysmorphia and eventually overcome it, or at least grow to tolerate or even love her body over time, so I figured why not do it myself?

Anyway- all that stuff aside!!! I just now finished the drawing, so if there's any mistakes...off lol. If I do feel like adding details I 100% will and will re-post it again, but for now here you go! I also made 2 versions cause I thought it could look cool yk? Also the 2nd versions quote is a line from the very first song in the playlist I made for the fic (yes I made a playlist on Spotify back then by the same name as the fic), but I feel it would so fit the theme since at least in the beginning MC is pretty much not gonna recognise her body or face as her own yk?
