Gandalf mentions the wood elves, and I just have to send out an “I luv you sis!” to my elfsister, who is a wood elf. @merigreenleaf - Gandalf’s talking about your distant kin! Hooray!

Oooo... My elfsister, @merigreenleaf, had mentioned that the Mirkwood was healed at one point. I remember thinking, “Hmm, she’s the expert, but I don’t remember that bit. I guess I’ll find out.” And here it is! While Gandalf was gone he and some other wizards drove the Necromancer (Sauron right? Maybe?) out of his lair. Which means the woods will have a chance to heal. Yay! It’s a tiny side note in two paragraphs, no wonder I forgot. I’m not great with remembering the details. Although I’m pretty sure I’ll remember the details in the book a lot better in the future now that I’ve done a read/blog through it. 

Hahaha, “It must be a potent wine to make a wood elf drowsy.” I know one wood elf that I’m pretty sure would be out like a light in no time. Considering they don’t drink and tend to be uber sensitive to things. Am I right @merigreenleaf? Of course that would require someone tricking you into drinking it in the first place... which would just be mean.
