The book I’m going through [here] teaches three different zentangle patterns per lesson. I’m doing a full page for each one as I learn it, and then I’m doing a random tangledoodle that combines the three patterns together. 

I loved how the red and black contrast with each other in this! I think I have a bad habit when I doodle of packing too much into too little space. I’m trying to be aware of that as I continue to play with all of this more. Using simple color schemes is really helping with that. It was also a lot of fun to see the patterns I had been working on all come together like this.

Last night I had an intense nightmare. I was so tense that when I woke up I could barely move. It wasn't sleep paralysis, I've done that before, it was that I had been curled up so tightly that my body was in full revol. Two hours, Tylenol, and some movement later and it is now only in semi revolt.

1. I have two nephews, a niece, and a second niece on the way. They are adorable and one of the brightest lights in my life.

2. My writing partner in crime @merigreenleaf - she’s incredibly supportive and smart and has a habit of having writing strengths where I have weaknesses. It’s a good match up ;) 

3. My youngest brother (the one with all the kids) fixed up my desk for me yesterday so it works better with the desk chair I was given for Christmas. Since i spend a loooot of my time at or near my desk this means a ton to me!

4. Books, books, books, and more books. Books are my dragon hoard. 

5. Ok, I also have a dragon hoard of art supplies if I’m being honest. The books are much better organized but I’m working on it with the art ;) 

The rules are simple: post the last sentence you wrote and tag as many people, as there are words in the sentence (if you can manage). From my current rewrite of Truth or Dare:  Kami thought it was an odd choice, but then again, it also meant they weren’t as likely to be disturbed.
