When he first asked Hyuna about her training, she had been surprised.  Neither of them spoke to each other often and really didn’t know all that much about one another outside of their files.  She assumed he would want to ask one of the instructors or captains for additional training hours.  It is not until she remembers that most of the instructors here are very by the book, safe and understanding, that it makes more sense to her.  Hyuna isn’t held back by Resistance standards. She was always willing to get down and dirty when the situation called for it and that kind of fighting took practice. It takes a while coming up with different solutions to dire situations, and Hyuna over time had gotten quite good at it.
She agreed to train together rather quickly after that.
They meet in one of the training rooms early in the morning, before breakfast is even served.  She likes it best at this time, when most people are still resting or just getting up.  It’s easier to focus during this time of the day.  That and she’s admittedly not sure how this will go.  If she’s going to get her ass kicked, she’d like for it to be with the least amount of people around.
“How familiar are you with street fighting anyway?”  In Hyuna’s opinion, a lot of their files were woefully incompletely and she wasn’t about to waste time with basics if she didn’t have to.  She hasn’t even looked at him yet, too busy wrapping her hands to acknowledge him just yet outside of a greeting.
