Post-apocalyptic visions I. Ā Ā Home / Transit zone
etching, 21x30 cm 2016
A year ago Iāve started working on a graphic series calledĀ āPost-apocalyptic visionsā and Iāve finished four etching pieces so far, and one more which was made with ink.
It has started as a school project andĀ āHome/transit zoneā was the very first attempt. In a short time, the project has outgrown its original purpose and developed into a larger concept.
---
I will upload them one by one while I'm going to work on new pieces and the printable version of the fifth drawing as well.
I will continue working on the series until I reach the limit of my ideas about this subject but at the moment, Iām working on the sketches of five new pieces.

I didnāt follow a specific theme when I came up with the idea of these drawings day by day, but there was a technical concept which I aimed to strick to: I wanted to create a series with dark, sketchy but also detailed style.Ā
Another important point was to enjoy working with ink without fear and to finish each drawing in time (because I tend to make tons of uncompleted sketches... bad habit)
