Where Storytellers Meet Their Perfect AI Girlfriend

In Elemental Archer before mimic's copy another person what do they look like in their base form?
(TW for minor gore and body horror mention) A mimic, is an amalgamation of parts. Almost always, their skulls come from deer, bones of different animals and meat⊠as well as the bodies of murder victims depending on the necromancer. In the case of the Elemental Archer mimics, a few contained pieces of the dead. They are essentially a blank slate, with literally nothing until the necromancer uses his or her magic, to animate them. To try to recreate life⊠Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes it doesnât⊠and sometimes, they still look like their base forms, just with skin and hair now, the deer head, the human-like body, that is entirely *wrong*. They are truly horrific. If they look more human after the magic is applied - run, because they have some semblance of intelligence. Not much, but enough that they know eating = no more hunger.Â

STS, what was the most enjoyable part of creating Elemental Archer?
Honestly⊠There were TWO major parts of creating EA, that were super fun and just a wonderful experience.
ONE: Plotting out the story and cooking up the world with @theblueskyphoenix while she was designing the characters and helping me figure out what this world had in it. We would talk for hours and hours about the characters, ideas for their roles in the story as a whole, the world. I was in a really bad funk, when Aileen gave me the most swift kick in the butt I ever got, to try working on EA to get me out of it. So⊠Thatâs what happened. If she hadnât, EA wouldnât even be out right now, itâd still be stuck inside my head. A âone dayâ idea. She lit the fire, I needed to write this story and complete it at that.Â
Two: Actually writing the story. Especially my favorite chapters and scenes. There were scenes that were years in ideas in my heads and imagined while listening to my favorite songs and when I finally got to them, it was exciting for me. It also let me try out my skills from years of fanfiction writing into a fully original work and helped me really hone those writing skills. I have a lot more confidence in my original stuff now and my original work list keeps growing and growing. :)Â
So yeah. those were the best parts. ^^
