First ‘Technology in Music Education’ class today and this is what came out of it! I’m pretty happy with it, seeing as this was my first time using Soundtrap. I’ve done lots of looping composition like this before using Garageband and Logic, but I really enjoyed the simplicity of Soundtrap’s layout while still having lots of content to fiddle around with. For something that looks so simple and is easy to use, it really had a lot of cool loops and extra things to do! It was nice to have a refresher on audio and midi recording today as well. I mainly work through audio interface combined with using my laptop keyboard as the midi controller, so it was good to get schooled on external midi controls. I’ve been meaning to buy myself a little midi keyboard anyway, so this unit can be my excuse I can give to my bank account.
