Thrawn has dragged the rest of the Imperials out to an art gallery to get some culture. How badly does it go? Who's still looking at art with Thrawn by the end, and who's disappeared to the gift shop/coffee shop/bar?
“c’mon you racist fucks, let’s look at some art” - thrawn, maybe
tarkin: he lets thrawn drag him to the gallery because he’s one of the few people he respects even marginally. makes it a point to disagree with any opinion krennic has on a work of art, regardless of what he himself thinks or even knows about it.
krennic: the man does have a background in art, though perhaps not in the same vein as thrawn is interested in. if it’s a modern gallery, orson immediately becomes lost in wonder, never to be seen again. thrawn has to call in rukh to find him again.
hux: as long as he doesn’t bring his destructive man-child boyfriend, armitage is welcome to join---though hux isn’t all that impressed with the artwork to begin with.. nevertheless, hux practices the smile-and-nod quite often for the sake of his chiss acquaintance.
phasma: 100% not interested. she goes along with it for the bare minimum of courtesy, but otherwise she’s off to the coffee shop to get her buzzwaitaminute is that a nude statue of a muscular woman?? nevermind, she’s 1000% interested.
yularen: while art really isn’t his forte, he appreciates the deep conversation that it provokes. it’s a nice opportunity to spend time with thrawn and muse alongside him, even if he can’t quite keep up.
kallus: the opposite of krennic when it comes to taste. modern, pretentious art only reminds him of the obnoxious rich folk of coruscant---and his older self, to an extent. show him the art of cultures and species long extinct, far from the core worlds.
eli: of course he’s still with thrawn. even if he is bored (which is only some of the time!...), he’ll put up with it. it’s only fair after he invited the poor chiss to help milk the nerfs back on lysatra...
