The Electric Flag.  Awesome blues rock band that formed in 1967.  Key members were Mike Bloomfield, Buddy Miles and Barry Goldberg.  They had that Chicago blues thing going, but pumped it up with horns and soul.  Still good stuff to check out and listen too.
