Quartzcraft’s 1st Anniversary

When we first had the idea for QuartzCraft, we were all in a pretty rough place. We had just come away from a pretty painful experience elsewhere, and we had nowhere else to go. We were angry, upset, and heartbroken; when we say QuartzCraft was founded on spite, it isn't entirely untrue. We wanted to make something bigger, better, and far more welcoming than where we had come from. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect to be where we are today. 

 It took us almost 2 years to build our server; Although it may not seem like much, we went through a lot of hiccups and a lot of different Spawn builds (sorry Builder team  my bad). When we opened on Feb 1st 2021, we could have never anticipated the almost immediate influx of players from day one. We crashed, hard and frequently, and yet you stuck with us and were incredibly understanding the entire way through our baby-step phase. Some of you even offered your technical expertise, which we will be forever grateful for. We have come a long way from those first few days. 

 But what makes QuartzCraft what it truly is... is, well, You. Yes, you, reading this right now. Every single one of you. Whether you've been playing from day one, you're fairly new, you just joined today, or even if you started playing and fell off and haven't been online for months. Each and every one of you are incredibly important to QuartzCraft and its growth; you have all fostered a community we couldn't be more proud of. Your kindness, generosity, and honesty is something we never take for granted. We know we won't always get it right but you are always quick to pull us up when something goes wrong and trust us to get it right next time; you will never know how much that means to us. 

 We also want to give a HUGE thank you to our entire Staff Team, current and past. Your work on our server does not go unnoticed and we are endlessly grateful for the time you have devoted to keeping QuartzCraft a safe and pleasant place to be. 

 Whatever the future of QuartzCraft may be and where ever life may take us, we hope that we have made a place that you can call home no matter who you are and where you may be. We are so excited for all the plans we have for our server this year, and hope we can live up to all your expectations. Thank you so much for playing on QuartzCraft with us.

We celebrated today with a tour of what could have been the original spawn of the server, a look down memory lane for us staff, and a chance to show the stages of like the server has been through! we will continue to celebrate through the coming weeks with another tour of the old psawn on saturday and some games throughout the week. 

Also, Visit Crystal just outside /spawn for some Anniversary gifts, as well as a ticket to the fair that just rolled into town! Apparently there's some pretty critical information in the local newspaper too  I wonder if we should be worried. 

 Check out the fair up at the farm for a few fun games, including the debut of QuartzLand's "ToasterCoaster"! A few games will be run by Staff in the coming days, but feel free to check them out and play them by yourself or with some friends while they are there! Join us for multiple games of Hide and Seek!
