Episode Review: Dark Winds - S3, E7
Ep 7: T'áá Álts'íísígo (Just a Small Piece) What a detail: Chee drives out to the canyon but brought a horse trailer to allow him to be able to get deeper into the canyon, faster than on foot. He catches up to the hooded figure, has him, tells him to put his hands up and while he was switching from the rifle to the handgun - not sure why he thought the person would listen.
Why does Manuelito think Ivan did something to ruin the film? Both hubby and I are confused, is it something we missed? Or is it just because he was in charge of the camera? I feel bad for her, sleeping with the enemy although he does care for her, not wanting her to be harmed, but he's stuck; even threatened with Budge and he's a man with no remorse.
Agent Washington seems to have a personal stake in the Vines case, perhaps it's just a way for her to prove herself to the FBI instead of being exiled. Plus, no one cares that Vines is dead (yes yes, I realize that Leaphorn leaving the guy to die is murder, but he was a bad guy 😆) Emma stands by Leaphorn though, holding up the alibi, but she leaves him - understandable that she needs space. Using that time to come to terms with what Leaphorn did and her role in the cover up.
Yep it's coming back to the dig site; Dr Reynolds wanting to throw away the arrow head was suspicious. So he created the arrowhead himself to fit the narrative he wanted to tell; when the kids found out he killed Ernesto. I would not have sent Teddi Isaacs off alone, that seemed wrong.
Man, I knew Garza couldn't be trusted... and while Manuelito is surrounding by people on the take, at least Ivan cares about her.
Fave dialog: Chee: (when he's told he couldn't hit the side of the barn) He was wearing a hood, threw me off
