“I-i may be somewhat wimpy, but at least I’m not miniature.”Â
A man with a paper bag on his head ran up to Cass, seemingly quite frantic. "Um. Excuse me. Have you seen a large blue bear with a flower growing out of his head by any chance?"
Ok, she hadn’t heard that one before. Was the man hallucinating or trying some really odd pick-up line? And what was with the bag?
“Uhm... No, i’m pretty sure i’ve never seen anything like that in my entire life... Did you hit your head or something?”
@eldritchsales liked for a starter!
The familiar alarm clock face across from Flug read 4:30- a time too early for most. Truth be told, this wasn’t early for Flug- it was late! The scientist and inventor would often work up to days at a time when he was on a roll, and this time wasn’t any different. While exhaustion lingered on his expression, there was a certain focus and content look to him that he only got while working.
Sure, he made things that killed people for a living, but damn it was fun.Â
Hearing somebody approach the entrance from behind, Flug quickly straightened himself up and stifled a yawn. Rubbing his eyes to look more presentable, he quickly swiveled around in his chair. “Oh, g-goodness. Did I wake you up, sir? My apologies.”
"Oh, 505~!" The last 'five' was drawn out in a sing-song like way. "Want to play a game?"
At first he was a bit weary from the incident from yesterday- but he always gave people a second chance. Though this was the 229192th chance for Mr.BlackHat.“Arooo?”

“Ah, that’s real cute.”
The puppet is pulled off with ease and left dangling in Steve’s hands. Now, he knows that this entire exchange will end....extremely poorly when whatever magic was keeping Black Hat like this wore off, but hey. All work and no play leaves Steve a dull boy!
And speak of play....
It takes all of three seconds for Steve to start merrily juggling Black Hat. Oh yes, he was going to pay dearly for this.

To be fair, she should really nor have touched the strange thing to begin with, much less stepped through what looked a lot like the swirly icecream she liked to get from the corner store in Inkopolis. But Mani Ikako wasn’t known to exactly pass up anything that looked even remotely interesting, and whatever this was fit squarely into that category.
She was pretty sure she knew what it wasn’t, and by the way it felt when she did step through, she’d gotten at least one thing right. The other side led to... a yard, apparently, or what she assumed was supposed to be one, with a path leading up to the funniest house she’d ever seen. Stifling a giggle, she bounced up towards the building, pulling down her sleeves before knocking on the door. At least she’d been taught to be polite, as excitable as she could be some all the time.

Robert Delano could often be found inside his office. Mafias dealt with more paperwork than anyone could think, and he preferred to handle it himself. Despite the work being considered stressful, he found solitude in it. Mostly because he was alone, the only company being his roughed up cat, Romeo. That also meant he didn’t always know what was going on outside his home.
His head had lifted up at the unexpected knock on his door. He gave the okay for whoever it was to enter the room, relaxing when he saw his friend, Manny, come inside. Though with his friend’s uneasy expression, Robert’s brows pinched together.Â
“We got a... A something, Rob. Maybe a problem? But you need to see this.”
“What is it?”Â
“See for yourself.”Â
At hearing that, Robert had set his pen down to see Manny step to the side. He heard the sounds of footsteps approaching. It was two of his mobsters bring him a... Person? Animal? Creature? No one knew what it was, only that it was standing outside the Delano household and eyeing the place with a longing look.
