The familiar alarm clock face across from Flug read 4:30- a time too early for most. Truth be told, this wasn’t early for Flug- it was late! The scientist and inventor would often work up to days at a time when he was on a roll, and this time wasn’t any different. While exhaustion lingered on his expression, there was a certain focus and content look to him that he only got while working.
Sure, he made things that killed people for a living, but damn it was fun.Â
Hearing somebody approach the entrance from behind, Flug quickly straightened himself up and stifled a yawn. Rubbing his eyes to look more presentable, he quickly swiveled around in his chair. “Oh, g-goodness. Did I wake you up, sir? My apologies.”
“There’s nowhere you can go now that I won’t be able to locate you.”

Flug would be in for quite a surprise when he came into his lab.
Sitting in a chair there, feet propped up on the counter like he owned the place, was Dark. He was casually messing with a ray gun he’d found, as if he’d been sitting there waiting for Flug to return.
When the doctor finally came in, he looked up, one of those hollow smiles on his face. “Doctor, how have you been?”

Oh dear. White Hat leaned back as Rosie leaned into the camera. He blinked, then smiled. The hero bowed.
“Only good things, I hope.” White Hat straightened. “I know that my alternates have... a reputation,” he said with a small wince. “How can I help you?”
