Yesterday we fed giraffes (yes I fed a giraffe from my mouth) and then went to a sanctuary for rescued elephants (I didn't get any pictures of the elephants :-( ) there was also a full grown male rhino. He stays there because he was born blind and he'd surly die in the wild. The giraffes have antiseptic tongues because of the acacia trees they eat sooooo I guess i shouldn't get sick for a while lol. This huge animal is graceful and gentle and used it's huge purple tongue to expertly remove the food from my mouth and barely even touched my lips. I live and love with an open mind, so you can save your grossed out closed minded comments or just don't expect me to give them the validation of a response. I've included a couple pictures of the road we're staying on; one to the house and one from the house, the street sign is not the name of the street we're on but the street we turn off of to walk to @chepkones beautifully & intelligently designed home. Houses made of stone and brick work as natural Insulators rather than the cheap plywood things we wallow in in the states. Hmm, do you sense a little bit of bitter American there? Rightly so. We're on Convent Road, and I feel this trip is a sanctuary for the soul, so it is aptly named! The last picture in this bundle is from before I performed last night @alchemistbar254 in #westlands for their first ever open mic night #auspicious af because I gave a masterful performance (I'll share 2moro) and have been invited to be the featured performer on #hiphop night August 17th! I'll live stream that show barring technical difficulties. Until next time, peace and love #CodeSwitching #lyricsmatter #lifestyle #ELDM #beats #staywoke #hiphoppapapa #nairobi #kenya #giraffe #sanctuary #cityinthesun (at Nairobi, Kenya)
