Living in an RV is harder work than we originally thought it would be. The lack of personal space - or even space in general - is a tough adjustment, when you are accustomed to multiple room apartments and stand-alone houses.Â
But you really can’t beat the ability to travel whenever, and wherever, you want. To simply pick up and head to Vegas, or Oregon to visit the grandkids, or back down to Southern CA to visit our favorite military base at El Centro.Â
Being able to access the military bases, especially, has been a life saver. Not only are they absolutely beautiful, but to stay there for long stretches of time can be dirt cheap. El Centro, especially, is absolutely amazing, with their pool, hot tub, etc. that are open year round - not to mention the surrounding area, and the air shows that the Blue Angels put on during the winter!Â
