I really don’t think I’ve ever listened to a song that manages to be so calm and sound relaxing while also making me be like “FUCK YEAH.” Listened to this a lot my sophomore year of hs and it’s still one of my absolute favorite Daft Punk songs.

Subdivisions - Ninja Sex Party (Rush Cover)

I can’t stand the lead singer of Rush’s voice. It’s like nails to a chalk board to me, but I love subdivisions. I love the music from the original, I love the lyrics, I love everything but the dudes voice. Like, as a whole I don’t think it’s a song that’s better as a cover, but personally, it’s my favorite cover. If that makes any sense.

Sabotage - Beastie Boys

I love this song so much. My dad liked to play it when I was a kid, so it reminds me of my childhood. Our computer used to be in the kitchen since we didn’t have enough rooms in the house for it, so my parents would play music while they cooked and this came on all the time.
