sukuna looks so spaced out here. and the position of his hand isn't even threatening. it's just observation and dissociation.

Fushiguro's domain always felt like depression to me. the deepest shadows. losing parents so young he can't remember what they looked like.

AND THIS FINGER also has 2 faces on it?? I thought it was only the finger that Yuuji eats in ch.1, this time it's a lot more subtle.... there is So Much foreshadowing on Sukuna's next vessel. but I never noticed this one?

and right after that, we have Fushiguro positioned like Sukuna. and sharing his sentiment. like if they just left sukuna alone. he wouldn't have fought back.

some other translations say they "hooked up" instead of "got married". so we don't even know Fushiguro's mother's last name. it was taken from Tsumiki's mother (ik I reblogged a more in-depth analysis that was rly good, I'll add the link if I find it).

Eiso did the best he could with what he had. Always giving them an out, explaining himself, setting boundaries and even naming the reaction he would have if it's crossed.

the unreleased death painting wombs are on the table, with the food. Not next to it. Not on a separate piece of furniture, not on their own chair. If they had a high chair, that could foreshadow them being incarnated.

But here it looks like they're going to be eaten.

Remember the juju stroll about "are you a rice or a bread person?" or the character pages telling us their preferences?

Rice is generally associated with more traditional, and bread is more modern, from what I've read (but pls add any meaning you noticed that I've missed here).

The way I see it is that nothing about their brotherhood is conventional, but they're happy with it.
