Eileen Diggory and @chlobenetâs Lily Leyton
âHe doesnât like me.â
âEileen, youâre being ridiculous!â
Eileen Diggory and Lily Leyton were strolling along the streets of Hogsmeade, weaving between their fellow Hogwarts students. The older of the two waved at her brother, who was messing around with some of his mates outside of Honeydukes.
âWhy would Fred Weasley, of all people, suddenly take a liking to me?â the Hufflepuff questioned, âIt doesnât make any sense.â
âMaybe because youâre kind and funny?â Lily raised her eyebrows in response, slightly baffled by her friendâs confusion.
The girls were an unlikely pair but they had more than made it work. Eileen was actually rather fond of a few students in her ârivalâ house, including young Luna Lovegood.
âYeah, right. Iâm just Cedric Diggoryâs little sister.â
âOh, come on! Thatâs not all that you are. Youâre Eileen Diggory: loyal, bubbly, Hufflepuff and proud. Hell, you turned Snapeâs hair green during your first year!â
âIt was an accident and we donât talk about that!â
âThe point is,â the Ravenclaw continued, âthere is a lot more to you than being Cedricâs sister.â
Eileen bit her lip in thought, looking at the ground in front of them.
âLook, I know Fred. Heâs a good bloke-â the redhead smirked at the other girl, who had been raised in France, using the word âblokeâ, âand he genuinely seems to fancy you. Now, shall we partake in a Butterbeer?â
With a roll of her eyes and a grin, Eileen hooked her arm through the blondeâs and sauntered towards the Three Broomsticks.
Too lazy to edit but hereâs your crossover, babe.
