Yori’s announcement was pretty uncalled for, knowing her- Yuuki definitely wouldn’t have guessed such a course suited her best. Well. . . she wasn’t exactly sure just how well it suited her, she had never really thought about it, up until now that is. Wine widens, just as she puts her tea onto its cup; almost spilling the liquid from the sudden shift.

Now that their lives had -somewhat- settled in, unlike herself, who pretty much had a job sorted out for her because of her family name alone, Yori on the other hand, had more of a free choice to what she wants to do for her future. Naturally, she should be a little envious ( ? ). But then again, it was not like Yuuki had ever thought about her future in the least.

In fact, if this life was not something she had to do, what would she be doing right now.. ? She never really liked studying, or any of those things. . . maybe co-manage Cross Academy with Father? Pfft, that’s a funny idea.

           the way that yuki && yori’s friendship had changed since she had re - awakened - it was an almost bittersweet feeling that lingered between each exchange . such a unique pain came with the feeling of trusting someone with everything , but not wanting to burden them with anything . wanting to keep someone in the dark , to keep them safe , even if it hurts them or make them sad ... it reminded her of how her own past had been treated , prior . it felt incredibly unfair to treat yori in such a way , but the sadness that came with trying to speak the truth to her - yuki wanted to shield her from it , if possible . she had more power , more responsibility , than she had ever had . there should be no need to drag her closest friend into this . she should be kept safe above all else .

You have built this welcoming hearth with your own two hands and won’t see anyone else left out in the cold. Be careful to not burn yourself out trying to keep everyone else warm.
