“You’re staring,” Dana said, amusement shining in her eyes as she watched Langdon. He had been trying and failing not to look at Mel for the last twenty minutes and Dana had had enough.

“It’s not my fault,” Langdon whined softly, still staring at her while he talked to Dana. “She’s got lipgloss on today.”

“Mmhm, it’s raspberry,” Dana told him, grinning to herself when his head whipped towards her.

“How do you know that?” Langdon demanded, his brows furrowing.

“She told me,” Dana answered. “She was very excited about it, said it was the only lipgloss she’d ever found that didn’t bother her texture wise and that it was her favourite flavour too.”

“Raspberry,” Langdon mumbled to himself, already lost to Dana as his eyes had strayed back to Mel who was utterly oblivious to his attention. “I’m going to die.”

“Yes,” Dana said cheerfully, laughing at Langdon’s resulting groan.
