Egg Tuck, 521 N Hollywood Way, Ste D, Burbank, CA 91505
I remember when Egg Tuck first opened in Ktown. I thought it was an Eggslut copycat, so I didn’t go. They seem to be doing well and expanding via franchising. Egg Tuck specializes in Korean style soft scrambled egg sandwiches. They also have breakfast burritos, tots, fries, salad, coffee, and other beverages.
Order from the kiosk. They only have a few menu items. You can add on or remove items to any sandwich. All the egg sandwiches include a brioche bun, fresh eggs, chives, egg sauce, and sriracha aioli. If you want to add cheese, the only option is cheddar.
Classic egg sandwich ($9.10 + $0.75 for cheddar cheese): scrambled eggs, chives, two house sauces, slice of cheddar cheese tucked in a warm brioche bun (that looks like a thick slice of bread). The scrambled eggs were soft and warm. The sauces were decent but I didn’t love them. The bread was very good: soft, fluffy, and sweet. It was pretty basic though. The eggs fall out easily.
New Orleans cold brew ($5.50): this was okay
Egg Tuck is small but does have a few tables and some counter seating inside. There is no outdoor seating. Service was very friendly. Strip mall parking was easy to find.
