Just got this email from Walmart:
We have been notified that August Egg Company (Nucal Foods) has initiated a Recall of Various Marketside Large Cage-Free Brown Eggs due to the potential of Salmonella contamination.
Our records reflect that you may have purchased one or more of the below items since February 02, 2025:
Marketside Organic Cage-Free Large Brown Eggs, 12 Count. UPC 681131122771
Marketside Cage-Free Large Brown Eggs, 18 Count. UPC: 681131122795
Marketside Organic Cage-Free Brown Large Eggs, 18 Count UPC: 681131122801
Marketside Large Cage-Free Brown Eggs, 12 Count. UPC: 681131122764
The recalled eggs will have printed on the carton or package a plant code number P-6562 or CA5330 with the Julian Dates between 32 to 126.

This is all the info I have. I encourage you to look up the source of your eggs in case Nucal foods distributes to other stores besides Walmart. The carton of eggs in my fridge, purchased in Michigan, matches a UPC and Julian date, but neither plant code number. For now, I'm going to keep them, but not use them, in case the recall is expanded.
