I really understand everyone with trans bunnies bursting out the starting line, eggs cracking wildly all over the place, and I support every single one!
But. I was really struck that we now have, on cinema screens, the allowance to support and love and celebrate the queer folk in your life who aren't there yet.
It's okay to be an egg. It's okay to be questioning. It's okay to need to be in a safe pillow fort and work it out. I think this is a really powerful thing. God knows I spent long enough in mine, and I am so glad I was safely incubated by my community.
Some of us have tougher shells than others, and that's okay. Respect and love those figuring themselves out this Pride, they're our precious family too 💙🤍💖
