If the witches were a responsible and left someone in charge before casting dangers magic 🪄

In this au before the first witches dead and became cookies they realized that if something want wrong than no one will be around to watch over their beloved cookies so they lift some one else in charge of the cookie world before they want to cast their magic spell like responsible adults parents (even if said child are cookies)

They left a freshly newly promoted witch in charge/babysit the cookie world while they go do big magic for those who don’t know cookie run lore from other games of the same series the first witch’s dead ☠️ and that left our young newly fully fledged witch all by herself to run the cookie world

Some information on the witch she is the apprentice of the first witches she was raised as a witch from a young age under the first witch’s care ( technically making her the adopted older sister to the virtues), who recently became a full-fledged witch they can use witch magic but can not directly/communicate  interact with the beasts/virtues she can only interact in forms of dropping of some objects into the cookie world or thoughts natural phenomenon like making a apple fall on your head when your directly under it. If she tries to do bigger things before she’s more experienced she may end up destroying the cookie world by accident.

As they are the only witch left at the time in charge of the cookie world and the than virtues/beasts they did their best to looks after them while trying to be a better witch

As time goes on we know the virtues start to corrupt the young witch start to notice their change in behavior they do their best to intervene to guide them back on the right track but they are failing the virtues are falling into corruption they need drastic measures.

They have tried all sorts of means to guide the virtues back on track even dropping various items for them to hopefully keep them occupied or dissuade them form their dark path none have work so they chose to try some thing different .

Throughout their times, watching the virtues notice a few things.

Knowledge is desperately lonely, needing someone who can understand them not just as fount of knowledge but as cookie who will always be there for them who can know his Truth and stay hold him with Compassion .

Change need someone who can remind them of the moments between chang who can remind home how precious each little moment is, despite how repetitive may seem to show him the Abundance of countless beautiful moments and his own Greed for the joys of those moments.

Revelation needs help to care for themselves not as a granter of wish of those who climb her peak but as a independent individual who too deserves care and respect who will stand up for her when they can’t to have the Resolution to stand by her side and care and be her Protector to hold it no matter what others may say or who comes his way

Happiness so lost in need of safety for all needs someone to charge ahead to remind them that we need more than just a safe Beautiful cage that we need to live not just survive to truly be happy for the happiness means nothing if we don’t know what pain felt like that we need Passion of life to seek out new adventures and strive for the happiness to be Unwavering in the face of challenges that life throws at us as we live and thrive.

Solidarity always works for the betterment of his people and comrades who needs some one who will listen to his quiet voice and give him the Freedom to soar towards a new dawn and have Curiosity sprout like a seed towards new friends and beginnings.

She chose to make them companions so as she is to inexperience to make a whole living cookie with the magic and intelligence and traits needed, she chose a different route instead.

She made Eggs not normal eggs special eggs a mix of sorts between a cream critter and a dragon a companion who will always be with you like a cream critter in various forms but with the large magic and sturdiness of a dragon both sides ability to transform into cookies.

For each egg she decided on a special ingredient for the cookies like how the virtues primary ingredient that they will be known by with scent and color 

For the Fount a purest vanilla as primary for it gently scent and taste the special being the light from the brightest star to light and guide his way then lost

For the Herald a marvelous Cheese as primary for its rich scent and taste the special being the purest gold to show in their dough as they shine in every precious moment to be held

For the Prophet a darkest cacao bean as primary for its deep scent and taste the special being a charge of lighting from the coldest land so no matter what they will charge ahead.

For the Bringer a reddest Barry as primary for it sweet but tart scent and taste the special being a bright flame of the sun on the hottest day so what ever they may face they will stand tall.

For the Knight a blooming pure lily as primary for its fragrant scent and taste the special being a dew of soft moonlight so no matter how dark they will find a way back to light.

Each egg put into baskets with care was place on the bed of the virtues to be found waiting for the time they will see the world and their virtues .

Pure vanilla= golden Lamb 🐑

Dark cacao= dark dragon 🐉

Golden cheese= golden phoenix🐥

Holly Barry= flaming Lion 🦁

White lily= flower/dryad dear🦌

I love this au and thank you @f1-birb for making me think about it this week!

Specifically, about this idea of Charles proposing to Lando or claiming they are courting whenever someone arrives to try and propose marriage to Lando.

It works, of course it does. Charles is noble. He has a dragon. He is well liked at the courts and he is the second son. It would be a good match politically for Lando to be bethrothed to Charles, but it is always fake. Always a way to get people to leave Lando alone and let George protect him.

Until George can no longer hold off the council and they threaten to seriously take Lando's titles for the crown because "they are wasted on your cousin who is not serious about his title or role".

Lando knows George did everything he could. His big cousin might push him but he loves Lando. He would and has fought tooth and nail to keep Lando safe and free, but Lando knows it's time to grow up a ltitle and accept it. To make things easier for George.

He says as much to Charles one day when lying in a meadow while Lucius and Egg chase each other in the skies.

Charles is shocked that Lando is serious. That Lando has been thinking on this and is going meet suitors and advisors to find the best political match for their lands. He sounds sad but determined and Charles is just staring at him until he blurts out:

Slime and the flippa fam is actually a few of my main inspirations how egg parenting with these two would go xD Both would definitely have a grief spiral, Bendy going to see if there was anyway to bring back Latte while Cuphead goes the route Slimecicle tried which was killing all the eggs in hopes of a reset. I have an Adamsapple AU with @fallenguitarhero where Adam and Lucifer have a little Angel Egg after a one night stand. Sera tries to give Lucifer the Egg to keep it out of Heaven as a courtesy because the Elder Angels would see it destroyed. But Adam refuses to just hand the egg over and go back to Heaven, so he ends up staying behind while Sera has to come up with some explanation and excuse for what's happened. Lucifer, of course, takes responsibility. He's really excited to be a father again! Adam doesn't fully trust him, but he is the other parent so he lives with him with their Egg. It gets Very domestic. After all, Angel Eggs take Years of Gestation and if they're going to be living together all that time, things are going to happen

Aww! Thank you! I hope this still applies 6 month later! QvQ -- "Deimos?" "Yeah?" "Where are the eggs." Deimos takes a moment to stop smoking his cigarette to reply as he stays engulfed in the TV. "They're on the pillow." "No. They're not." Deimos then gets confused as he sits up on the lumpy couch and turns to see Sanford standing nearby the pillow where the eggs containing their precious twins used to be. Seeing the pillow completely empty. He sits up rapidly and looks around the room before smiling nervously at Sanford. "I see the problem..." "Oh, DO YA? Deimos, this isn't funny! WHERE ARE THE KIDS?" "Now hold on, I think they are just a little misplaced!" Sanford could only pinch where the bridge of his nose would be if he had one and groans loud and low. His gaze fixates on Deimos again, completely serious. "Well, where did you have them last?! I left for ONE HOUR to get my hook fixed up and you LOSE BOTH OF THEM?!" Deimos then hurries over and covers Sanford's mouth, hushing him harshly. "SSHHH!! The Player will get mad at me!" Sanford then rips off his hands and growls out. "As they should! You didn't last one hour and now the eggs are gone! Now shut up and help me look for them, bozo!" Deimos could only nod in quick affirmation. The two mercenaries then begin to search high and low for the two missing eggs, their worry slowly growing more and more as the places they checked turned up empty. They weren't in the bedroom, they weren't in the bathroom, the hamper, the living room, the kitchen, in any of the other bedrooms, and not anywhere outside or in the trucks. Deimos eventually began to feel Sanford's sharpening gaze on his back as the longer the kids stayed missing, the more and more he felt like he was gonna find a meathook in his backmeat. They both eventually wind up back in the living room, Deimos pacing back and forth with Sanford standing angrily nearby, his arms crossed and his gaze steely. "This doesn't make any sense, Sanford! I swear! They were RIGHT THERE when I dozed off on the couch!" Deimos panics. "Anything could've happened in that time, Deimos! What if some agents or bandits snuck into the base and made off with our eggs?! They could be omelets right now for all we know!!" Sanford chides, his face wrinkling up in anger. "THEY WERE RIGHT FUCKING THERE, SANFORD!" Deimos suddenly yells out. "I WAS WATCHING THEM PERIODICALLY. THEY WERE THERE! I FUCKING KNOW THEY WERE!" Deimos continues to scream, ignoring how Sanford's gaze switches from him to looking over his shoulder. Seeing Doc and the Player walking into the room, holding the missing eggs in question. Each wearing a confused and concerned gaze as Deimos erupts. "And FURTHER MORE, you could've just GONE TO YOUR ROOM AND FIXED YOUR FUCKING HOOK AND NOT GO OUT TO THE SHED AND--" "What is going on here?" Deimos is suddenly cut off with the voice of their Player resounding out from behind him, making him screech in surprise. He blinks dumbly as he spies Doc and the Player holding both of the missing eggs in question. Each present and healthy. "I--what?! Where did you--" "Deimos...Sanford..." The Player abruptly intervenes, giving both men a look. "Did you two forget that it was check up day for the eggs?" Both grunts stay silent, each one looking ashamed or embarrassed. The Player could only sigh as they take the other egg from Doc and place them back on their pillow. "I'm getting you both a reminder calendar and you two are going to start checking it in the morning, do you understand?" "Yes, Player." The two mercenaries say in unison as Doc chuckles at their predicament.

Bonus: Sanford to Deimos when the eggs are missing--
