SCARIEST EXPERIENCE: Being locked inside an old cemetery vault as a kid. He was playing hide and go seek with the local boys and found a grave with a stone jostled enough to get inside. Cedric made the clearing but as he climbed in, he loosened the slab and it fell closed after him. Not hearing his cries for help, his friends figured he left and went home since it was getting late in the evening anyway. It was close to ten o'clock that night when a policeman and his frantic parents / half the neighborhood finally found him. Since then, Cedric can’t stand being confined or any sorts of small spaces. This includes being held down. He likes his freedom of movement and tends to freak out of it is compromised.

WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT?: He’s a new transfer to UofC from England and doesn’t know very many people all that well.  Aside from a few faces he’s met at new student gatherings and whatnot. Getting involved in the project allows him to get out into the wilderness, which he loves, do something that sounds like it comes with an incredible pay off and meet people that he can build friendships with.

Dean had been alone for almost a year. Maybe it was for the best. He was tired of letting Sam and Cas, and even Jack down, so he took to the road after a quick goodbye to his family.

It didn’t take him long to find strange things happening in Colorado, and after coming up with the perfect persona, a college professor teaching some class he didn’t even know how to spell correctly, Dean was off to the woods to help the students and faculty there rebuild an abandoned camp ground. He knew that he could blend in there, easily. There was already a large group. Sadly, that just meant more people he’d have to save if shit really did hit the proverbial fan.

The other sad news was that Baby had to sit under pine trees for days, and while it provided her with plenty of shade, it also covered her with the needles and often gave Dean pause as to why he was even doing this.

“Hey, my name’s Dean Winchester. I’m here to help out around here.” He told a student, giving a small smile. “Mind pointin’ me to the sign up desk or whatever?"

DO THEY BELIEVE IN THE GHOSTS/PARANORMAL?:  Yes, it’s hard not to when you’ve lived in Gotham City. Anything is possible.

WHAT DID YOUR CHARACTER BRING WITH THEM?: Her notes containing her findings (cause she plans to publish them for some coin), a bag filled with whatever clothes she could frantically stuff into a bag, a pistol and a sleeping bag.

ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF?: Harley is a transfer student to UCCS. She transferred from Gotham University where she was working to get a Masters in Psychology. Her focus in studies was the criminal mind and she took on an internship while there at the local insitution, Arkham Asylum, where she was tasked with evaluating one of the most dangerous criminal masterminds in Gotham City, The Joker. After his “release” (which was a break out that Harley assisted in, leaving a handful of personnel deceased), Harley left Gotham and transferred to UCCS to continue her studies.

ANY CHANGES TO YOUR CHARACTER THAT SHOULD BE NOTED?: Nope, none that I can think of except Harley isn’t a “crazy clown” in this verse. She’s basically Harleen on the outside with Harley’s killer instincts on the inside.

WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT?: It’s a cover. She’s more or less on the run after the break out of the Joker and the mass of bodies she assisted in leaving in their wake to help him escape. A new school and a new city is a new beginning for Harley as she tries to leave what happened in Gotham behind.

GUILT no longer consumes her, the cries her victims no longer haunt her.

THIS IS WHO SHE REALLY IS.  

the immense high that came from a mission greater than any drug out there. it’s probably the ONLY reason she’s still allowed to come along these missions instead of being locked in her CAGE, she’s a willing participant in hydra’s maddness.

harley’s a far cry from the woman…the DOCTOR that hydra brought through those doors years ago.once upon a time, she was STOIC and COMPOSED, nowadays she’s manic and RECKLESS, the lines of her SANITY now blurred.

WHAT DID YOUR CHARACTER BRING WITH THEM?: His truck, a truck load of beer, his camping gear, grandad’s rifle in hopes to get some hunting in, hunting knife, clothes and necessities, baseball bat, ping pong table and rackets, a few books, some porn, and a private supply of munchies.

ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF?: Despite the death of his wife, Negan very much is in the ‘act like nothings wrong’ mode because grief is for pussies and sitting around weeping over it isn’t gonna change shit, so he’s out here trying to sweat it out, and enjoy the wilderness and detaching from the real world for a bit.

ANY CHANGES TO YOUR CHARACTER THAT SHOULD BE NOTED?: Lucille is dead, and no zombie apocalypse. Also Negan is wildly inappropriate, the University knows and he’s gotten plenty of slaps on the wrist for it, however given recent events in his personal life they’ve been a little more lenient and to this point, have failed to replace him because he’s really good at what he does. And may or may not have been having sexual relations with the dean, despite his now late wife.

WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT?: Negan is a professor at UCCS who is head of the ping pong team and you may know him from such classes as ‘Peep Show: Sexuality in Popular Culture’, ‘Human Sexuality’, Negan’s wife passed away a few months ago and his house feels like a tomb. He harbors a lot of guilt for how things transpired in Lucille’s final years with his inability to be faithful, knowing full well he should have given her a better life than the one she got. He’s not ready to throw his summer away in the heat of a pity party, and instead jumped at the chance to be balls deep in the woods, with a truck load of beer and manual labor at hand.

She makes a really shitty roommate, watching vine compilations with shitty come and go service every night before bed. Her parents died in a plane crash when she was a little kid. She was put into an orphanage shortly after, eventually getting adopted by an older couple in the United States. She’s been here since she was seven or so, and doesn’t really have much of an accent anymore.

fish camp:  Colorado is known for one of the best fly fishing in the US. Our mission is to educate student of the culture of fly fishing. We would like to share the importance of conservation, and patience through fly fishing. Fly fishing does not only involve fishing. arrow-in-arrow:  It is our mission to build a sustainable competitive Archery club program at UCCS to allow the students that practice the sport of Archery to continue their growth and compete at the collegiate level. The purpose of this organization is to provide opportunities for campus students and community members to be informed and participate in the sport of archery.

ping pong club:  The purpose of Ping Pong Club is to foster good sportsmanship, interest in and expansion of the sport of table tennis, increase the knowledge and skills of the members, and awareness of the spirit and its benefits to the community. Our vision is to enable players to bring forward their skills in the sport and be able to play against other players with similar skill levels and interest levels. Our goals are to compete regionally with other schools in the area and perhaps go to the state level competitions.

shooting sports club:  To teach and inform students about basic firearm safety and handling, and to teach the fundamentals of scholastic competitive shooting. WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT?: He genuinely thinks it’ll be fun! It’ll be tough, but what better way to spend the summer than with his friends and helping build something cool?

WRITING SAMPLE

                      it’s been too long,  too many unanswered calls and texts.  he almost feels bad,  he actually might if he didn’t believe in what he’s doing.  protecting scott.  it’s been his main objective since leaving beacon hills,  that and making sure his sister doesn’t get tangled up in one of monroe’s many webs. but thankfully she’s running with a new pack and isn’t alone.  he’s not too sure about the priest,  but the alpha is willing to do anything to make sure his pack survives. derek lets his hand find scott’s shoulder,  squeezing gently before he lets it fall back to his side.  an unspoken good to see you too.  he casts the alpha a glance at the tone,  it’s probably too dark to see,  but he knows scott will sense it so he doesn’t let it linger.    “  i can leave.  ”    he WON’T.    “  but i thought you could use some help.  ”

they’re sitting in beacon hills’ only diner in what’s come to be their spot. graduation is fast approaching and it’d almost be a relief, but there’s something holding scott back from celebrating. it’s been two days and he still hasn’t opened up the envelope from uc davis. he doesn’t know if he got in or not and part of him wants to keep it that way. he hadn’t even shown anyone yet, but malia had seen it on his bedside table the night before. she hadn’t said a word, understanding that’s what he needed. merely blinked her eyes before moving in close and they slept peacefully together, touching in the most innocent of ways.

now they were at breakfast together. scott dragged her out of bed in the morning, envelope tucked into his back pocket until he dug it up to put on the table after they ordered. he’s staring at it, heart racing and breathing unsteadily. his own fingers tap anxiously on the surface next to it. the alpha doesn’t stop until her touch is on him and he stills instantly. it’s not out of shock though, they’re long past that stage.

he relaxes because of it. the anxiousness is simmering below, but it’s more manageable. it’s gone completely by the time malia takes his hand. then when she squeezes, scott feels at ease in a way that’s become all too familiar when she’s touching him. besides with her, it’s not something he felt in a long while. he doesn’t want to let go, it’s the last thing he wants, but now he knows he’s ready to read his fate.

his free hand moves to wrap over hers and he squeezes back before pulling them both away. a sigh leaves his lips, regret at the loss of touch, but it’s also to steady himself for what’s to come. picking up the envelope is easy, opening it is even easier. scott starts to read, breath caught in his throat until another sigh leaves his lips. then he’s grinning and leaning into malia, turning his head and it’s almost a nuzzle when he moves it against her shoulder.

BIGGEST FEARS & PHOBIAS: Of becoming like the killers he investigates.  These fears mostly surface before, during and months after each investigation.  He has been forced into therapy once following his last case but there are traces and hints of what happened to him each time he slipped into the minds of his killers?  Hasn’t quite truly left him.  In spite of what he may say, do, or act like.  Those who truly know him see it.  He knows they do.  And maybe that’s another reason why he is here.  To be as ‘okay’ as he pretends to be on occasion.  Unless buttons are pushed that temporarily make the facade slip.  His own mind can be the most terrifying thing to him.  Getting too close to people that they and he might have to face his true state of being.  Because realizing what his true state of being is may have very dire consequences.  Not only towho he is trying to become because of who he may become in the aftermath of this self-awakening.

SCARIEST EXPERIENCE: In Will’s experiences, any time he steps his feet in the shoes the killers in the cases he’s walked on, the world (and his mind) his a terrifying experience.  Not supernatural by any means, Will’s brain is wired a little different than normal peoples and he has the keen ability of pure empathy towards the murders he is brought out of teaching from to investigate repeatedly.  Even at the risk of his mental health.  He can become a victim and become a killer.  His investigative ‘techniques’, where they are beyond amazing, take immense toll on him in the form of nightmares, missed sleep and nervous habits.  He’s seen entire families slaughtered by his own hands, watched as he’s been bled out.

DO THEY BELIEVE IN THE GHOSTS/PARANORMAL?: Will is constantly teetering one way or another on the fence about that.  He’s seen evil inside living human beings that would make most demons look innocent in comparison.  It’s hard to believe in the afterlife (especially what it could entail..maybe nothing at all?) for him sometimes.  Others?  Late at night when thoughts like that creep into your mind?  It’s a jumble of thoughts mixed in with the others in his head he’d give anything to have a solid answer towards.  Either reached by his own means or some proof he could pinpoint.

ANYTHING ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF?: Nothing outside of canon!

ANY CHANGES TO YOUR CHARACTER THAT SHOULD BE NOTED?: As of yet, Will has not met Hannibal and has not investigated the prolific case that brought them together because it hasn’t (or has yet to have..muwhaha!) taken place.  Consider this version of Will as close to canon as possible before that time.  However, instead of the Minnesota Shrike being his first case (since our Hannibal is searching for an Abigail), I’m going to just have him having been in the field up til then and several serial killer cases he’s worked on having overwhelmed him to the point, due to his unnatural level of empathy and understanding of the killers he helps track down, he’s decided to take a break from the Bureau and take up post in new surroundings.  He’s only been in his position since the beginning of this past year.  I can work with the Hannibal writer on developing an AU in this timeline and will update the bio regularly as it unfolds.  There are rumors in the FBI office that his doctor might have had a hand in recommending Colorado Springs for a reason unknown to Will or anyone else at this time.

WHY IS YOUR CHARACTER PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT?: A summer in the woods is always a great idea in Will’s mind.  Great fishing, amazing views, fresh air and a chance to help out if needed for a bit of company he may not seem very involved in keeping but enjoys the background noise of voices around him regardless.  They keep his mind a little settled between the quietness he, also, holds dear.  So?  He packed up his dog Winston and is currently residing in one of the only cabins that would mostly pass an inspection as he helps fix the place up.

marley could feel her pulse radiating in her ears,   her cheeks still on fire, even though she had left the auditorium with her tail between her legs half an hour ago. it was katy & gaga week, which was supposed to be completely awesome. pop! girl power!those were marley’s specialties, but instead of a kickass, fun week, marley had beensuspended for a week. suspended because she refused to wear a seashell bikini onstage.

she was furious. she felt betrayed. she had been doing so well with her therapy sessions after the sectionals incident a few months earlier, but this? this made her feel worthless. it made her feel like people only saw her body, and honestly, what was there to see? she had tried the bikini, and all she had seen was everything that was wrong about herself. how was she supposed to parade around in it like everything was fine? and why was she punished for simply doing what was best for her mental health?!

she hugged her jacket closer to herself as she walked home, her tears drying into cold streaks against her flushed cheeks. the thing that hurt the most was that no one had stood up for her. her best friend. her boyfriend. even her ex-boyfriend ( or whatever ryder was ), a guy that she truly considered to be one of her best friends, had called her out on her ‘cowardice.’ she just felt alone.

she shakily pulled out her phone to check and see if anyone had sent her a text, licking her lips as an idea popped into her mind. it had been a while, and maybe she was bothering santana, but she hit her name when it popped up on the screen, putting the phone up to her ear.
