Spare OC lore?
If you're referring to my girl Efi, I'd be more than happy to share!!
So Efi is my Encanto OC from a few years ago, who I shipped with Bruno Madrigal in a sort of backstory/potential prequel set about 25 years before the film.
She actually lives outside the Encanto, but finds a crack in the mountains that allows her to come and go whenever she wants. She actually meets Bruno by chance one night (which you can read here)
The two of them meet, and when Efi takes an interest in Bruno's stories, they form a fast friendship. Since she's an outsider, Efi doesnt know about the miracle or his family's gifts, which allows Bruno to form a a genuine bond where he can just be himself, without the pressure or expectations to use his gift. And Efi feels seen and appreciated as well, which brings them closer to one another.
They end up falling in love and have almost a year long courtship before things unfortunately take a turn and they break things off. Efi leaves, for good this time, and it's another 26 years before Bruno reunites with her again.
Since I dont plan on continuing the fic, I'll just drop the ideas I had for her here - Efi is not simply a human, but a mermaid that can take on a human form
(The idea was that she was once fully human, but was found as a baby in the same river that we see in the film. The river is essentially a Mami Wata, a river spirit, which is why she is able to gift both baby Efi and the Madrigals with a miracle)
Efi's odd behavior (disregard for personal space, collecting broken objects and various discarded human belongings, having a venomous snake that curls up in her dreads, no shoes, etc) is due to her growing up completely isolated from other people, and living as a river mermaid with her "mother" (who isnt much of a conversationalist)
