If a character in comics was created after 1986 or 1987, I'm probably not gonna know them. If they show up in extended media, I'll know them. But otherwise? Nope. They're just gonna be completely void to my conscious mind. The Fantastic Four have two kids? I know it's true, but I can't think of any besides Franklin. I don't read modern comics enough to care about their second child. This would sound awful if I was talking about some real kid, but since I'm talking fiction I think it's all fine. But characters made after a certain period of time usually end up dead to me. Unless they show up in cartoons or video games or something. Then I might be able to give them a pass.
I've made a lot of comic posts lately, and thereby I now feel like I'm neglecting all other interests. I sometimes worry my hyperfixation is never gonna change. And like...I really do like the comics I've read, but I also just want to know that I can like stuff beyond comics and not have comics eclipse everything forever. I don't know if that makes sense, but I'm hoping it does make sense. Because it's a feeling that bothers me sometimes.
Anyone else too lazy to watch news video?
I'm a pretty fast reader so it actually annoys me when articles consist of videos because I know I could read it at least 2x before the video finished :/
