so i’m losing my mind over this idea but imagine a jjk hockey au heavily based on elle kennedy’s off-campus series.

basically each guy gets his own book and they’re all standalone x readers, but the stories all overlap and the girls are a close-knit friend group.

we have toji fushiguro as garrett graham doing the fake dating and tutoring trope with a quiet, super smart reader who is using him to get back at her track-athlete ex.

then suguru geto is john logan doing a second-chance romance with a total sunshine reader after he completely messed things up freshman year.

gojo satoru is dean di laurentis as a spoiled, retired playboy who goes secret dating and falls down bad for a fiercely independent, sarcastic reader who is totally immune to him.

and finally nanami kento is tucker doing a high-comfort slow burn with the campus it-girl, but we are absolutely skipping the pregnancy trope lmao.

Such a lovely ask—and I’m so sorry it’s taken me an age to answer it. Our Ski / D&D / BG3 week has been a kind of delightful chaos, but alas, not especially conducive to sitting down and writing. With the Americans fully committed to footballing today, I’ve managed to steal a small pocket of quiet to catch my breath—and catch up.

I don’t quite think of myself as a “fic writer,” strictly speaking. Mostly, I write D&D stories: campaign diaries shaped into narrative, moments filled in between dice rolls, histories gently smoothed where the table ran wild. Sometimes I write adventures outright. Because of that, I don’t have much on AO3—I find its Flintstonian level of technology a bit awkward and rickety at the best of times, and something of a trial to my patience at the worst. I do have a vague goal this year to get my half-million words or so out into the world in some coherent fashion. Might happen. Might not. Who knows? The dice are fickle.

So, in homage to the legendary dungeon master Brennan Lee Mulligan—who reminds us that all great adventures contain five essential components: Swords, Magic, Kissing, Family, and Death—I offer the following:
