RACHEL BERRY:
That morning Rachel woke up, looked outside and smiled. It was going to be an amazing day, she had a date with the love of her life, everything was looking up and she couldn't stop her excitement from bubbling up. It wasn't often that they really got to go on dates with their conflicting schedules absorbing most of their time but Rachel was determined to maintain her promise of going out with Finn and making sure that they got to go on dates as much as they possibly could. As she was making her bed she got a call and got asked to come into the diner but politely thanked them and declined because she wasn't going put her work or a bit of extra money above the man she loved, the man who had her heart and who her soul was intertwined with. It wasn't who she was, her relationship came first especially when she knew she wasn't going to be needing the diner once the show took off.
After hanging up she was quick to tidy up before showering and getting ready for their little lunch date. She wasn't sure if Finn wanted to go out somewhere or if he wanted to just stay at her place and order something and eat there but either way she was prepared. She had gone and bought more food to make them lunch or dinner depending on what he wanted to do and for some reason she had been compelled to go and buy new candles and a new lighter so she could light them all. Perhaps it was because she was anticipating a romantic night together or maybe just because she wanted to freshen up the place a bit, make it feel more cozy and warm during the last of the winter season. Whatever it was, it felt better, more homely and perfect and she was beginning to doubt whether she really wanted a new roommate.
When she finally heard a knock on the door she double checked that her shoes were by the door before getting up and going over to answer the door. Pulling the door open she smiled when she saw Finn standing there. "Hi handsome. She whispered as she looked up at him. Every time that they were together she felt herself falling more and more in love with him. They were tethered together by an invisible string and there wasn't a single moment of doubt in her mind that this was it, this was how the rest of her life was going to begin. They would date and everything else would fall into place over time. "Come on in." She said as she stepped aside to let him into the apartment.
