Technically speaking, we aren’t giving it up totally. We’re just postponing our celebration. You’ll be fine, Kitty. We’ll be fine. I know you love me, and I love you too, so that’s why I’m fine with you not telling your parents until you think the time is right. Don’t worry about me, okay?

I know and I’ll make it up to you, when we celebrate it’ll be a night you won’t ever forget.  Besides maybe we can sneak off for a little bit of romance.  How am i going to go without kissing you and holding you and being close to you for a whole week.  I swear the Good Lord is testing me.

I didn’t realise that your parents didn’t know… Do you need help with anything? I’m not sure what I can do, but there’s no harm in trying, right?

Sebastian said he’d help out, you have got yourself a good guy there, Frodo, don’t forget that.  I wish that I didn’t have to stress out over them finding out, but sadly that is not the case.  At least it should be just a week of them asking about classes and me desperately trying to keep my hands off my girlfriend.  In other words, pure torture.  

Alright, alright, I just am under a lot of stress and can’t be my normal witty self right now.  You’re a life saver, Sebastian, if I wasn’t head over heals for my girl and you weren’t marrying Frodo, I’d totes be all over you right now.  

I’m not sure if I’ll ever have everything figured out.  I get that part, though it’s hard to not be touchy feely with her.  I mean can you imagine not being able to touch your girlfriend in any romantic or affectionate way for an entire week?  This is definitely torture.  They see what they want to see, especially my mom.  My mom would probably be the type that would see us making out and just assume i was giving Marley mouth to mouth, my dad on the other hand would freak the fuck out.  

I get it, well, not really. I get what you’re saying. But won’t they eventually find out? I mean, you plan on being with Marley for a long time and they’ll catch on eventually. Especially if marriage or kids ever becomes a topic you two seriously consider. It’s not selfish at all. Everyone wants their parents to be proud of them and support them. As long as you and Marley are okay with keeping it a secret that’s all that matters. You and Marley are the ones who have to live with this, so whatever works for you guys.

I don’t intend to keep it from them forever, just til after I’m financially independent or I get my trust fund and able to move it somewhere they can’t touch.  Though, honestly it’s not just about the money, my parents and I have been through a lot of ups and downs in our relationships.  It’s nice to be on good terms with them.  I don’t know how Marley feels about it, she says it’s fine, but Marley wouldn’t tell me one way or the other.  Marriage and kids are a long way off, if they ever happen at all.  I can’t say I haven’t thought of some sort of future with her, but I don’t know if I’ve really thought that far ahead.  I tend to not look too far in the future for these things, it only serves to get you hurt.

Yeah because I totally dress hella gay and have lesbian porn strewn across my apartment, thanks for letting me know to hide that shit.  Sometimes I wonder if everyone knows that they can just look at me and know that I love a girl.  Honestly I wouldn’t care if the rest of the world knows, I just don’t want my parents to know.  

Wait, your parents don’t know ‘bout you and Rose doing the nasty? That’s rough. I ain’t sayin’ that lying to your parents is the way forward but you know I got you if you need a dude to be on the other end of a phone, y’know? You think they gonna hate on you for the lady lovin’ though?

Marley and I do no such thing, not that it’s any of your business.  But, no, my parents don’t know that Marley and I live together as more than just friends and roommates.  They are Catholic Conservatives what do you think?  Wait...Puck...you’d do that for me?  That’s actually kinda sweet.  

I’m sure things will be fine. Just try not to worry about it too much because odds are they’re going to love you no matter what. It might be difficult, but life never works out the way that people plan.

You don’t know my Dad, Quinn.  I don’t want to disappoint him again.  He’s so happy that I’m going to Columbia and want to be a lawyer, he looks at me like his daughter again.  If I tell him...he’s never going to look at me like that again...if he ever looks at me at all.  

That shouldn’t be too hard. Just have to move some stuff around and put up a picture or two in there of hers so it looks lived in. Easy Peasy. They probably don’t suspect that you guys are more than that so as long as you don’t makeout or confess your undying love for one another in front of them you’ll probably be safe. Hopefully. Parents are scary, but they love you and want the best for you. 

My parents are pretty damn scary, Sugs.  My dad especially.  My mom would probably just pretend she never saw anything and ignore it, but my Dad...we’re finally in this good place I don’t want to fuck it up.  He’s proud of me for the first time in like forever and is it selfish that I kinda want that to last a little while longer?  At least until after Law School and I’m the head of my own practice? 

Don’t worry, okay? You’ll be fine. I’ll be on my best behavior for your parents. And we can always celebrate Valentine’s Day after they’ve returned. 

You’d be okay with giving up our Valentines Day?  I know you’ll be on your best behavior you’re the good influence.  Myself, however, is going to have a damn hard time trying to keep my hands off of you for a week.  I love you, you know that right?  I don’t want to hide us, but I can’t tell them.  They aren’t like your mother.

Yeah because I’m just going to march up to my conservative right wing Catholic parents and tell them that the girl they think is such a good influence on me is i my bed every night.  Yeah totally a smart move, you know if I want to be disowned and lose my apartment and Columbia and my dreams and everything I’ve worked so hard for.  It’s like you don’t even know me, Warbler. 

Yikes. If you need help, I can throw a spare bedroom look fit for a queen in no time. Anything at all I can do to help, just let me know. Everything’s going to be fine, Kitty. Just remember to breathe in and out.

Help from my bestie?  I think I’d be open to that.  I just have to make it look like she actually lives there, and that we’re not shacking up and together.  I don’t know how to make them be convinced Marley and I are just friends, when she’s everything to me. I know they aren’t ready to hear that though and that could cause major drama.  Any advice would be wonderful.  It’s hard to not stress out right now, have you met my parents, Sugs?  I’ll be lucky to make it out of this weekend alive! 

I wish I could extend my hand out to you, unfortunately, my hands are a bit tied up. In my high school days, I was a pro at fixing up my room. You can ask Blaine, I make a clean room, despite our night time adventures. 

But are you a pro at degayifying an apartment?  Or finding me a pretend boyfriend for a week so my parents won’t ask too many questions? Normally I’d rope Hunter into it, but that’s no longer an option.
